A large Holiday House suitable for the extended family or friends traveling together, situated very close to the Cairns CBD. Wilks House has 4 bedrooms (all with aircon. and fans) and 2 bathrooms with a separate WC. There is an open plan sittingroom/dining area and a very well equipped modern kitchen. Austar TV and wireless Broadband are connected. A large sittingroom downstairs is perfect for teens or small children and has its own TV, video dvd player and stereo system. Videos,games and books are provided should you want a quiet day at home. Adjoining this room is an undercover dining/BBQ area and the 4th bedroom annex. The laundry has a large washing machine, drier and cleaning products. A solar hot water system provides plenty of hot water. Public transport is easily accessible. The Esplanade with its safe swimming lagoon and boardwalk is less than 8 mins by car. Make the house your base to explore the Atherton Tablelands, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef
