Great Weekend in Pine, AZ
Myself and 2 long-time friends were looking for a nice, quiet weekend within reasonable distance from Phoenix, AZ after we had attended a professional conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Last year we had gone to Sedona, AZ and wanted to go somewhere different this year. We really got lucky. This house in Pine, AZ is great and in a beautiful location, perched on the side of a hill with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The hard wood floors, the loft bedroom, the vaulted ceiling in the family room, it was all very nice! It was extremely clean and well furnished. Even the pantry had a wide variety of condiments, spices, etc. The first night we were there it snowed 6-8 inches and it was beautiful, a real treat. Julia, the owner, was excellent and helpful, as we had questions about snow shovels, travel time to Phoenix airport, and a necklace that was left at the house (she found it and mailed to the one who left it).
It was a beautiful drive through the mountains and forests to get to Pine from Phoenix. Great weekend there, we would highly recommend this VRBO rental!
