The airport is in the San Jose area (not Cabo San Lucas) so handy to everything!

About Jane Mitakides

Our family lives in Dayton, Ohio, and we have owned this beautiful home in Mexico since 2001. With two adult children, we love having friends and family here and enjoying this very special place in Mexico. John is a graduate of The Ohio State University. We redecorated in 2012. It's perfect!

The peaceful, spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez -- plus the sound of the waves rolling in -- made this a perfect spot. We love being at the San Jose end of the 'Cabo Corridor' (Cabo San Lucas is about 12 miles away), where the restaurants are fabulous and there is a thriving art community. It is safe, quiet, pristine -- recently called 'the safest spot in Latin America' -- and handy to everything! And, depending on the time of year, you can watch the whales migrate into the Sea of Cortez right from the terrace.

What makes this condo unique

We are the first owners of this property, and designed it to be our home. We have brand new flat screens TVs with satellite service; top-quality American appliances and beds; quality in every detail. But it is the view and location that make this place so special.

Relaxing Getaway

The purpose of our trip to San Jose del Cabo was to relax, and we definitely achieved that goal. It was nice to get away from the typical all-inclusive resorts and actually walk to the grocery store, cook our own meals, and explore the San Jose area. There are some good restaurants in the area. El Zalate is in a convenient location to take a taxi to the Cabo marina, downtown San Jose, and the airport. The condo we stayed in was very clean, nice decor, and updated kitchen & Weber gas grill. Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony as well. The mattresses were very firm, which some guests may appreciate.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing

Fun Time in Cabo

Beautiful condo in a beautiful complex. Clean and well-maintained. Pictures are very accurate and shows the excellent beachfront location of this condo. Condo is well-appointed with lots of amenities--satellite TVs, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and BBQ grill. We loved the giant beachfront balcony with the gorgeous views.

Location is in San Jose Del Cabo; very close to local Mega Mart (supermarket). You will need a car or taxi to get to downtown San Jose or to go to Cabo San Lucas.

Jane (owner) is wonderful to deal with and very responsive. The local management just average.

All-in-all, a wonderful place. Wish we could have stayed longer and looking forward to a return trip.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

I checked with the property managers about the "okay but not excellent" response time, and learned that Gail's brother-in-law had died that week, and they were out of town during part of your visit, relying on the assistant manager. I've worked with them for 12 years, and they've always been GREAT! We strive for FAR better than average in every way when we have guests at our home! Please come again!
