Independent gîte with 2 en suite bedrooms, open plan living space and mezzanine

Le Cerisier has one double bedroom and a twin* that are both en suite and luxuriously appointed. The bedrooms lead in to the open plan living space with a large kitchen and dining area, and comfortable lounge area around a log burning stove. A cloakroom and WC leads off from this area. An open mezzanine level overlooking the ground floor houses an alternative living space ideal for relaxing with a book on a comfortable armchair.

The mezzanine has the option to sleep three extra people with a comfortable sofa bed and a single bed.

Sleeps 4-7 [1 double room | 1 twin room | 1 sofa bed on mezzanine | 1 single bed on mezzanine.

Mas des Cèdres is set in beautiful grounds at the foot of the Luberon hills. The area is populated by delightful medieval villages such as Menerbes and Gordes, great for exploring and visiting their weekly markets. Take a walk in the neighbouring village of Oppede le Vieux up to the castle ruins or take a tour around the local corkscrew museum in Menerbes and visit some of the many vineyards to sample local wines and see how it is produced. Don't forget to buy fresh vegetables and fruit at the Coustellet farmer's market on Sunday mornings, with all local produce

We stayed in one of the barn conversions in May/June and we simply could not fault the property. it has been refurbished to the highest standard and fitted with all the modern applicances you would expect in a property of this quality but it has been kept in keeping with the character of the original property. Krissy and her husband were really helpful through out the booking process and during the duration of our stay. The Luberon region is beautiful with lots of medieval hilltop villages and the property is nicely situated for visiting the various towns in the region. We hope to be back soon.
