Heart of Texas Ranch is nestled on 55 acres of Hill Country just ten minutes from Lake Marble Falls, Lake LBJ, the City of Marble Falls, and close to all the recreation, shopping and sightseeing that Central Texas is famous for.

Our vacation houses are perfect for family vacations, with enough room to accommodate multiple families or large groups.

The Isaac Millsap House has 5 bedrooms plus 2 'pocket' bedrooms - comfortably sleeping up to 16. It has all the amenities for the ideal vacation, wedding, or corporate retreat. Please enjoy the slide show or virtual tour to see what we mean.

About Owner/Manager

My parents bought this home as their dream retirement home in 1993. After I inherited it, I decided to turn it into the area's premier retreat and wedding venue. We do everything from family reunions, weddings, corporate retreats, parties, concerts, you name it.

Heart of Texas Ranch is owned by an 8th generation Texan whose ancestor, Isaac Millsap, was the oldest man to die at the Alamo. The vacation homes have been proudly named after Isaac and his wife Mary. When fully developed the ranch will include a winery, wedding chapel and additional accommodations.

The popular Heart of Texas Wine Tours is also operated from the same property taking visitors to tour a selection of the many Hill Country wineries. Ranch house guests enjoy a 10% discount on these wine tours.

Located just minutes away from Hidden Falls Adventure Park, and a short drive from Marble Falls where you can visit historic sites, shop, dine or cool off and fish in Lake Marble Falls. There are public boat ramps to Lake Travis situated between the ranch and Marble Falls and as well as the location being a great spring-board for touring the Hill Country it is conveniently located for exploring all the delights Austin has to offer.

Great Getaway with friends!

We had a mini-reunion with some high school friends (30 years out). This was a wonderful place to do just that. The porch is beautiful and has incredible views. You can see the sun rise and the sun set! The home is well-appointed and attention to detail is apparent. The hosts are very gracious and have much knowledge about the area. I highly recommend this lovely Hill Country escape!

Weekend with Friends

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful ranch house for a weekend retreat with several of our old friends from high school.We had absolutely the most fantastic time here!! The house itself is so warm and inviting, spacious, fun bright colors, and the setting is exquisite! What beautiful surroundings and so peaceful!! We BBq'd, cooked, played music, sat and visited and took in the beautiful sunshine on the big wide deck! A short drive into Marble Falls to do a little shopping, get more food and beverages, and it was the perfect weekend! The hosts, Dale and Kasey are the sweetest, most gracious couple! They made us all feel at home, and boy did we have some fun!! I would recommend this ranch house to anyone looking for a unique place to have a gathering of family or friends, a wedding party, a girls weekend retreat, or a man's weekend with his buddies! There is a second house a short walk down the street that holds even more people if you have a rather large group. The most comfortable beds, fresh fluffy towels, kitchens stocked with everything to cook with (just bring some food!) and SO CLEAN!! We will be back!!!

FANTASTIC TIME to be had at the Ranch!

WHAT.A.WEEKEND! A large group of friends got together and had a mini-reunion at the Heart of Texas Ranch for the weekend. It was so much more than I could ask for in a vacation home! I was greeted with so much warmth entering this beautiful place. The rooms were clean and inviting. Although this is a HUGE place, the owners' design plans have managed to make each room a warm and cozy place; they have seen to every minute detail to ensure our visit to be the BEST!

...And the deck... The HUGE Deck large enough to host a wedding party! The most romantic view of the sunrise and sunset could be seen from this beautiful deck. If you're a stargazer like me, you'd be in "Heaven" with the view here too! I had a fabulous time at this ranch!!!

The house was FULLY equipped with all amenities one could ask for and then some... a warm and welcoming place for all venues!

We had a great time with a large group of friends. This place has very large and comfortable rooms, a fabulous deck overlooking views of the land. What a great place to enjoy the sunset or take a walk through the property. My first trip to that part of Texas. Loved it!

Wonderful large house with a huge deck and spectacle views! Had such a wonderful time staying with a large group of friends and it never felt crowded. Wonderful Host and Hostess and really was wishing we could of stayed longer. The house is very conveniently close to both Marble Falls, wineries and Lake Travis. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
