1BR+/1BA – Sleeps 4

This one bedroom unit sleeps four comfortably and is approximately 600 square feet, completely furnished with custom furniture, private balcony with decorative railings, spacious bathroom, two flat-screen color televisions, DVD player, and wired Internet.

The bedroom has a king-size bed, ample closet space and a flat-screen color TV (cable). The spacious living room includes a queen-size sofa sleeper, a flat-screen color TV and a cozy gas fireplace with stone hearth. The living room also includes a dining room with table and chairs and a beautiful granite countertop with stools. Off the living room is a beautiful private balcony which overlooks the Village and offers views of the ski mountain.

The kitchen is stocked with all cooking utensils, stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher, microwave and range. A hydronic heating system is used to heat slate tiles on the kitchen and bathroom floors.

The unit is located in Squaw Valley, home to the 1960 Winter Olympics, situated in the “Village at Squaw Valley” at the base of the ski mountain and just steps from the gondola and other ski lifts. A Ski storage locker is located on the first floor. Enjoy views of the Mountains and Aerial Tram from the living room and deck.

Restaurants, shops, galleries and a spa are all within the Village and just steps from our condo. Several restaurants located in the Village include Mamasake Sushi, Fireside Pizza, Rocker, Bistro 22, Auld Dubliner, Mountain Nectar and Plumpjacks. Starbucks is also located in the Village and offers morning delivery service. Other Village amenities available to you as a guest are a media room, kids’ playroom, billiards room on the base floor, eight hot tubs and four fitness rooms located strategically throughout the Village. Additionally, secure heated underground parking for the length of your stay is included.

Winter activities include world class downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh riding and ice skating.

In the spring, summer and fall your options expand to include activities at or near the resort such as hiking, biking (trail and mountain), horseback riding, tennis, golf, rafting on the Truckee River, boating, sailing, kayaking, and swimming on beautiful Lake Tahoe.

About Eric Warshower

We've lived in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Florida and Southern California due to work. Of all the places we've seen, we fell in love with this beautiful area and now call it home. We're local to the Tahoe National Forest area and ready, willing and able to assist our guests with any special requests and in person.

Cosy and convenient

Great location, very easy to access the village and the lifts. Underground parking was a plus. The owner was great, called me in advance of the trip to brief me on a few things and was very helpful. The unit is in excellent condition, and perfect for our needs, although I think it would be a squeeze for four.

Great location. Very comfortable condo with all of the desired amenities. Amazing details provided by the owner to make everything so easy. Love the village location with so many food/entertainment options. The owner seems very committed to making sure that the experience is without issue. This was our first vrbo experience and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Would stay there again!

I loved staying here. Planning on returning. The village complex is the best place to stay to ski Squaw. There's so much to do in the Village, you don't need a car at all. You can take advantage of the free shuttle that gets you to other resorts. This unit in particular felt very much like staying in a hotel. It was very clean and furnished well. We loved the fire place in the unit! We also loved having a hot tub on our floor. I stayed here with 3 girl friends and there was plenty of room for all of us!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Warm and cozy one bedroom condo right in the village. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ski lockers were incredible convenient ! Had breakfast in the condo and left to ski for the rest of the day. Everything in the apartment was in working condition.
