1 bedroom, 2 bath pet-friendly home next to Blacklake Golf, near Pismo Beach

This guest house is on our 2 acre slice of heaven. Located behind the main house, the cottage has it's own private access drive from the road. Tall pine trees grace and shade the cottage's private, fenced garden. There is an abundance of plant and wildlife on and around our property. Enjoy the large kitchen, watch cable on the 50'' plasma TV, soak in the jacuzzi tub, BBQ on the private deck, read in the flower garden, wash your laundry, and let your dogs play in the fenced yard.
About Suzy Green

We're a quiet, friendly family w/ 2 kids, 2 cats, and a silly dog. We're busy living life on the front side of the property and will leave you to your privacy.

You will hear only the peeping of quail in the morning, the chirping of birds in the day, and the hooting of owls at night. Warm sunny days are freshened by a gentle breeze from the pacific and fragranced by the surrounding pines and flowers.

What makes this cottage unique

Nipomo is known for having one of the most stable climates in the world. You can expect most days to be sunny and pleasant. Winters are usually the same as summers - around 70 degrees. There is sometimes a tasteful amount of rain and often a pretty mist in the mornings. From late October thru February the monarch butterflies migrate across the property.

The cottage is located about 5 miles due east from the ocean and 1 mile off Hwy 1. There is a new exit off Hwy 101 that is a straight 3 mile shoot to the cottage. It's less than 1,000' from Blacklake golf course. It feels like a country setting, surrounded by trees and fields. Golf balls fall into the yard on occasion.

Just what we needed

We were moving to the area and needed a place to live during a two month escrow process. The owners were incredibly nice and welcoming...very good people. We had two dogs, one of which is a Pitbull which many people view in a negative light. They had no issues with our dogs and welcomed us into their cottage. Our dogs LOVED our stay at the cottage. They became great friends with the owners dog and loved exploring the grounds and unique landscapes. The house was very comfortable and we took advantage of the BBQ on the deck a few times. TV, cable and Internet were great as well. No complaints.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

our wonderful week at the cottage

We stayed at the Cottage in Nipomo for about a week. It was a wonderful trip. Everything was just as it had been described in the property description & photos. It was totally spotless, and ready for my family to use. We really enjoyed the garden (my toddler loved the lemon tree!), and had a nice cookout with some friends and family on the grill out on the deck. The owner was great -- addressed concerns right away (there was an internet outage, but she took care of it right away when we called), and cut a check to return my deposit upon checkout. We've been telling everyone how perfect it was. We will be back!

Nice house that is very pet friendly.

The owners were very helpful and made us feel right at home. The house was very comfortable. Great kitchen. Very nice deck. Perfect yard for the dogs and nearby trails for walking. Very close to both the Blacklake and Monarch Dunes golf courses.
