We are also walking distance to a public golf course, a heritage park, and a recreation centre. There is excellent public bus services to and from the University and Downtown. It's also a great location to start your tour of Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, Washington State, Seattle, or Vancouver.

Garden Suite has excellent sound proofing and comes with private bath, kitchen, laundry, an all amenities you would expect when renting. Housekeeping is available on a weekly basis.

I really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, traffic is local, south facing private back yard, huge trees provide privacy, well established neighborhood, centrally located, convenient, love the warm spacious rooms of the house. Love the private Hydrotherapy tub and Wet Steam room, especially on a cold or wet day/night.
Location is excellent, it is so convenient to everywhere in Victoria, your only 8 mins from DT, Shopping, U-Vic easy access to Airport, Main Land Ferries and Seattle, USA. Up Island highway, yet the propertt has big trees. Well established Neighborhood, Heritage Park and Dead End Street, great location to walking trails.

The owner was very welcoming and very helpful with answering questions about the area and public transport.
This home was lovely, clean and cozy. It had a homey feeling. The towels were so fluffy and the beds so comfy. It felt like we never left home. It was centrally located. Easy access to the major highways and close to a shopping mall. We were able to do our own cooking and had access to a barbecue. We had a nice little outside patio to mingle around. I would definitely recommend this place for the value.

In looking for accommodations on the internet, I was delighted to find Judge Place House matched our need for wheelchair and dog-friendly accommodation. I was also very pleased with owner Paul's quick response to my initial inquiry and his additional communications prior to our arrival. We arrived in the dark and in the absence of a sign, I parked the car to seek out the correct address. Before even entering the house, I was pleased with my choice. Judge Place House had a very cozy, Christmas feel to it upon my approach -- and the interior followed suit. It is very tastefully furnished (as pictured) and the kitchen equipped with everything I needed to cook meals for four. Sleep came easily and comfortably in the king-sized bed with its lovely Italian linens. (Paul was very helpful in moving the bed in order for my husband to get between it and the stove.) The heavy "black-out" curtains also contributed to an excellent sleep and complete privacy when needed.
It was actually a surprise to find out there were other guests in the house as I did not hear them in our downstairs space. Another very pleasant discovery was the beautiful park at the end of this dead-end street. It was a lovely place to build a "fairy house" with my granddaughter and a leash-free haven for my dog. Although in a quiet, beautifully treed residential area, all amenities needed were very close-by.
I would highly recommend Judge Place House to any friend or relative (in fact I already have). I will most definitely stay there again should the need arise. However, if my husband is travelling with me, I will bring a plastic garden chair for the roll-in shower. (The installation of grab bars would help too.)
Judge Place House is situated within a protected Gary Oak Forest, yet it lies within the city, everything within the city is approx. 15 mins traveling time.
