The apartment is a 52 sqm one bedroom located in the 1st district. It is on the 2nd floor of a typical parisian building, equipped with an elevator.
Enjoy the peace, very close from the Louvre museum, right in the heart of Paris. The apartment is full of charm with its authentic mouldings, its wood floor and of course the building refurbished in the late XX.
The entrance is furnished with a big mirror and a table with 4 chairs. From the entrance, you have the kitchen to the left, the living room in front and the toilet to the right.
The living room is equipped with a 3 seats sofa that you can convert into a bed for 1 adult or 2 teenagers. There is also a coffee table, a television with more than 100 channels, high speed wifi connection and a phone with free calls to France, US, China cells phone and more than 100 countries for land line.
The bedroom is situated just in the continuation of the living room, it has a comfortable queen size bed, a lot of space with several closets. The bedroom windows is on the courtyard side, and therefore quiet.
The bedroom communicates with its own bathroom, equipped with a shower with a bathtub, a sink and a washer/dryer.
The kitchen is also fully equipped, with refrigerator, freezer, toaster, micro-wave and all the utensils needed to cook.
In the closet, just next to the toilet, you can find the iron board and iron.
All the windows of the apartment are on the courtyard side, the noise is very limited.
Living in the south of France near Cannes, we come few times a year in our apartment. While we are away, I let Damien (manager of the agency) managing my apartment as some of my friends already work with him.
Damien purchased this apartment in 2006
I decided to buy this apartment as I love the area of the Louvre. When I come in Paris, it is usually for business or meeting my family, so, being in the city center cannot be better for me and my husband.
- separated kitchen;
- separated toilet;
- the parquet/ woodfloor (requirement);
- lots of shops and restaurants...
For seven days wich I spent in Paris I was more than satisfied with the staff, the apartment, and the location of the apartment for wich I think is one of the best that any tourist could wish for. We had all the necessary conditions to spend seven unforgettable days. Apartment is beautiful and its location is more than good to meet all our needs with many shops, bakeries, etc. One of the main metro stations (line 1) is nearby, as well as the station that connects the airport CDG to the city center.. All in all thank you for your courtesy and kindness. Best regards.
For the location the price is great. Its close to: the Seine; the Louvre; coffee places i.e.: illys’; starbucks; grocery stores; butcher shop; The Metro; Restaurants, etc . . . Would we stay here again and/or recommend it? If, we wanted to stay in the City. Yes. Yes to recommending it. Felt very safe here.
The apartment was very clean. Not even dust. Although could use some new/repair plastering & painting in the kitchen area. The leather couch does need to be replaced. The bed is very comfortable. Linen and towels were good.
All utilities worked very well. The cable was not working on the TV, not a big deal since we weren’t there to watch TV, But Samia had it fixed very promptly. Washer / Dryer, Dishwasher & REFR worked well. Lighting worked too.
Plenty of hot water for showers & dishes. Interesting that the toilet is separate from the bathroom, not a big deal
The lift, while great to have is on the smaller side 2 maybe 3 people.
Our electricity went out once, took a while to figure it out, but with a neighbor’s help we got it working again. So don’t run W/D and dishwasher and blowdryer. I believe that is the combination that put the lights out. ;)
GLAM is very helpful. Samia is the best. If they could do one more thing. That would be to put in writing how to operate W/D, Dishwasher, and Electrical panel. Not that we didn’t know how to but good for reference. Oh ask her about the keys to the front door. Don't leave a key in the door when leaving.
Word of caution: The upstairs neighbors you can easily hear . . . walking around in heels, moving things around, in the late evening past midnight. The courtyard is where the garbage cans are, and starting at 5/6am there is plenty of noise!!! I believe it comes from the restaurant next door. If a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here. Did not hear any other neighbors or street noise.
The apartment has a splendid layout with lots of room -- perfect for my needs, and ideal for a couple. All the appliances work great, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Alexis and Samia were superb hosts. They were super punctual for the check in and the check out, which I appreciated. During my stay, the sink developed a leak, and they had it fixed by the end of the day. I would definitely rent from them again. Of course, the location was ideal.

The apartment was in an unbeatable location, clean and had ABSOLUTELY everything we needed. With the exception of a small issue, they were great at check - in...The issue was that they were not there when we checked in. We had two tired children from the transatlantic flight. However, in fairness, we checked in before the allowed time and they were very accomodating with that request.
We would not hesitate to rent again except that the apartment was very noisy. There was noise at all hours of the night from the upstairs neighbor and lots of noise from the courtyard from someone moving gargage and boxes from what we can only assume was one of the businesses. We did advise them of this during our last days of our stay so I am hoping it can be addressed for others who will be staying there. Outside of that, the place was nothing short of great and, as long as the address the noise issue, I would recommend it to anyone.
My family of 4 including 2 children had a wonderful stay at this lovely and comfortable apartment in April. We walked everywhere, though if you wanted to, the nearest metro station is only a few yards away. Despite its central location, the apartment was very quiet. Close to numerous fantastic restaurants. We walked to the Louvre at night after dinner to enjoy the view while it was all lit up, and my children loved watching the lights on Eiffel tower as it lit up like Christmas tree every few minutes. We plan to go back to Paris, and we would definitely stay at the same apartment again.
This clean, cozy and spacious apartment was an excellent value for our stay in Paris. We are a 55-plus couple and although still pretty fit, we appreciated the elevator and the convenient location to walking in Paris, close to the Louvre, the Seine and many little cafes,bakeries, markets, and also the Metro. The apartment was tastefully decorated, comfortable queen bed, and colourful modern furniture which somehow didnt detract from the heritage building. Kitchen was well equipped and having automatic dish, and clothes washer available was handy when we were on the go most of the time. Although our view was on a small courtyard, it was worth not being on the front street as it was very quiet. The service from Glam@Paris was responsive, helpful and cooperative. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for good value, comfort, and convenience.
The location is scenic, central, quiet and secure. The 1st arrondissement is filled with fine restaurants , designer boutiques, and fabulous restaurants of all styles. Whether you are seeking 5 star-dining or cozy neighborhood bakeries, the neighborhood has it all.
It s only about 100m away from the Louvre museum just across the river from, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and Saint-Germain-des-Près. Metro line 1 Louvre-Rivoli is about a five minute walk away, which will take you to sites like Place de la Concorde, Musée d Orsay, Beaubourg, République, Place de la Bastille, Place des Vosges and other historic attractions in less than a 15 minute walk away.
