This beautiful, spacious (1897 sq. ft.) 2BR/2BA condo is located on a private street in the Versailles complex. This unit is a single story villa (no steps) with its own attached garage for parking. The Versailles is particularly desirable due to its access to local transportation. A short walk takes you to grocery stores, post office, pharmcy, beauty salons, spas, a variety of restaurants, T.J. Maxx, Michaels, and World Market stores.
The condo offers a spacious updated eat in kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances including a five burner gas stove. It is well furnished as to quality dishes, glassware, utensils, and all your cooking and baking needs plus a pantry closet.
The formal dining area has direct access to the kitchen and has an adjourning wet bar area. The den has its own stereo system, flat panel cable TV and DVD player. Each of the bedrooms has a flat panel TV. There is also a TV in the living room.
The patio is very private with a rose garden and a Weber gas grill. There is direct access to the pool and spa area from the patio.
The two bedrooms and adjoining baths have excellent separation from each other for privacy. There is ample closet space. An elevated air mattress bed is also provided as well as a folding single bed and portable crib for guests.
We prefer a 3-4 month seasonal (winter) rental.
Price is negotiable on a seasonal long term rental.
We have been permanent residents of Palm Springs since 1998 when we moved here from New Jersey. Dave gave up Wall Street and Sue gave up university trusteeship to live in paradise. Since we have six children we think keeping this condo for their visits makes for a more enjoyable relationship.
We were living on the East Coast at the time and loved the friendliness, cleanliness, and charm of Palm Springs. We thought it would be the perfect place for our large family to come to for vacations or to get away from the cold winters. The proximity to the PS airport and local transportation were a factor because we could stay here and not have to rent a car. We loved the spaciousness of the unit, the proximity to the pool/spa and the eat in kitchen.
It is close to all the activities that we enjoy. We treat the pool and spa almost as our private sanctuary since it is so seldom used by the other homeowners. Not having to go up and down stairs is a a real treat The home is spacious enough to give our guests privacy. We enjoy the many film festivals and local theaters here in the valley as well as the never ending events and of course the wonderful selection of restaurants and array of shopping venues available for all tastes.
