Historic Mule Barn in the Heart of Crested Butte

This unique property was originally a barn for mules! No kidding! It was deconstructed and moved to a town lot for people to inhabit and enjoy. Keeping all the charm of a barn with modern day conveniences, this one of a kind property will be talked about for years to come! Three bedrooms on the lower level, one with a king bed, one queen and one twin room share a full bath. The second floor boasts a large kitchen with washer/dryer, dining and living area, and a second full bath. The upstairs loft has two twin beds and a queen bed. For the little ones there is another small loft that can sleep two. The Barn is in walking distance to the bus stop (free bus every 15 minutes all day every day) which takes you to the base of Mt. Crested Butte ski area. It is also located in walking distance to the quaint downtown area that has unique shopping and dining opportunities. Immediately down the street is a large park with playground equipment, a soccer field and picnic pavillion with restrooms. The rec path for bikers, hikers or walkers is also a very short walk away. In summer you can hike and bike from the Barn and in winter you can cross country ski directly from the house. Included in rental are two cruiser bikes for summer or winter.
