4 bed + Bunk room with 2 bunk beds / 2 bath sleeps 8-13

Built in 1996 by a Architect/Designer that helped develop Grey Crossings in Truckee. Beautifully built with country living in mind! Pushed back off road, three levels, makes you feel the way you should when you are in the mountains. Located on the back end of Tahoe Donner close to Hwy 89. Hard wood thru out, on floors and walls. Lots of windows and skylights, three flat screen TVs 2 with dvds and 1 brand new 3D flat screen with vhs/dvd.Wireless internet. Fully stocked kitchen with gas stove. Washer & Dryer. Two bedrooms with queen beds, third bedroom with a twin and a pullout underneath, the fourth with two twin beds, and one pullout, the bunk room has two bunk beds, great space for teens! Backyard has a nice slope for awesome sledding. Spot light on house makes for great night time sledding and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! So charming, with bears thru out. Wonderful place to spend your Holidays! Perfect for two families.

We live in the East Bay, we have three kids in lots of activities so we hardly ever get to go to our beloved cabin anymore, we thought that we would share it with you!

We decided to buy in Tahoe Donner because it is centrally located to so many ski mountains, mins to casinos, mins to Truckee. It is a 2hr.30min drive from Walnut Creek, and 3 hrs from San Francisco.

What makes this cabin unique

When I walked into this house I could invision our family celebrating holidays, backyard summer BBQs, it was perfect! Exactly what I wanted in a cabin, I wanted to feel like we were in the mountains! We saw so many homes that we looked at reminded me of our primary. This is so unique and one of a kind. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!

Thanksgiving in Tahoe/Donner

This cabin is in a wonderful neighborhood. The setting is lovely. There are trails leading from the cabin through the forest. It is close to Donner Lake and downtown Truckee.
There were 8 of us staying overnight. There was plenty of space for everyone to have beds and privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and the dinning room is surrounded by windows to allow forest view dinning. There is a wood burning stove in the living room which helps make the cabin feel rustic and comfortable. The furnishings are just right and everything was very clean and neat. I recommend this house for a winter or summer get away.

Perfect for Winter Break

Hi, we came out from New York during our kids February break. We had an amazing trip. The house is gorgeous, a perfect mountain getaway. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and everything is immaculate. Ski resorts are nearby and the little town has great shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed family time at the cabin -great open floor plan downstairs-and sledding in the backyard. We can’t wait to go back, we’ve heard that the summer months are fantastic there too!

P.S. Our kids had never skied before and the equipment rental and lessons at the closest “little mountain” were excellent. Our guys were up on snowboards after a morning of lessons.

Our family was fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful Tahoe Donner home. We were beyond please with the house which is in a beautiful neighborhood within close proximity to the Tahoe Donner recreation areas, Truckee and Donner Lake. The house is gorgeous, spacious, we'll maintained, beautifully decorated and super clean. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Charming Home

This house is an a great location and very close to the mountain and amenities of Tahoe Donner. Restaurants and Supermarkets are a quick drive down the road.

It is very comfortable and makes you feel like you are home but are tucked away in the woods. We would definitely stay here again.

A Cozy Retreat

Our first visit to Tahoe in several years - we really enjoyed this clean, comfortable, cozy home. We found this house to be well maintained with everything working as it should. Quiet neighborhood. It's a quick drive to downtown Truckee or Donner Lake, and half an hour at most to Tahoe City. We highly recommend this home, and plan to come back for our next visit.
