This was definately the place for the entire groom's family to stay during all of the festivities. The house was neat, clean, and fully stocked with all the "necessities" to cook and relax. I was completely impressed with the quality of the linens, towels, utensiles, decor, and the awesome Murphy bed. Cooking on the BBQ pit and having a special "party room" set aside from the rest of the house was great for those who wanted to stay up later in the night. The lay out was such that we could have a group of people who wanted to chat in the front room, and a group of people that wanted to dance and listen to music in the back. PERFECT! I would highly recommend this property for any visitor who is coming to the area to have a special space to relax and enjoy the peacefulness that IS Marfa. The owner was quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had, and kind enough to give us a "walk through".I loved being able to walk to Pades, the courthouse, the Squeeze, heck just about anywhere in town you can walk to. Of course we all enjoyed seeing the Marfa lights, and all the fun freaky tourists that make for such great stories. We will be back that is for sure!

Owner's Response: SO glad you had a great time! You're correct that it is a perfect place for a get together with family and friends. To launch Stover House last Marfa Lights weekend, we had a party that more than 50 people attended and there was plenty of room for everyone in the family room and backyard. Come back again -- you were just the sort of guest we love!
