3 Bedroom, 3 Bath With Peaceful Wooded View

2 bedrooms (one king, the other has two twins) each with a private bath, loft bedroom (queen) with a private bath. Fine quality linens and bedding.

Spacious fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Sunny vaulted family room with stone gas fireplace and additional dining area which seats 10.

Bright deck with seating and dining areas for relaxing and dining...including a gas grill for your use.

We are from Atlanta and fell in love with Highlands, NC on our first visit! We just recently purchased this home and are so excited to have such a wonderful place to escape our busy lives! Please note we are making some updates to the home, so we will put additional photos on shortly!

We love this home because it is spacious enough for get together with our kids, family and friends! Many of the homes we looked at while house hunting had tiny kitchens and family rooms...we were so lucky to find this home! We love to cook and entertain! Our favorite times at the house consist of a glass of wine on the deck or playing games by the fireplace with the kids. We love that the house has three bathrooms, very rare in a Highlands cottage! The floor plan works so well for any type of group! Girlfriend getaways, boys golf outings, downtime with the kids...all work great here! We love being so close to Mirror Lake! we stroll down with coffee and relax while watching the ducks and geese! We also have a canoe to share with our guests!

What makes this cabin unique

Our home is very allergy friendly! I have dust mite and pet allergies, so all the bedding is new and each bed has dust mite protection.

Nestled in the picturesque Mirror Lake area. Enjoy a short walk to the lake in the morning with your coffee and watch the ducks and geese. Located very close to town where you can enjoy fabulous shops and delicious restaurants. Our home is also very close to some of the most beautiful sites in the NC mountains, Bridal Veil Falls and Dry Falls are just a short drive. Regardless of the season of your visit there is plenty to see and do. Highlands is a rainforest which boasts some of the most lush landscape, including gorgeous Rhodendrons! There are many options for a day hike or longer if you prefer. Fall brings a brilliant showing of autumn colors! Summer is such a delight with temperatures generally 20 degrees lower than Atlanta and Greenville. Fresh air, relaxation, blue skies and nature's beauty await!
