2 bedroom, king and queen bed, Sleeps 8 with queen sleeper sofa and bunk beds.

Enjoy our top floor beach, pool, grounds and historical Seawall view as you sit on the patio. The photos of our view are accurate and we hope our guests will enjoy hours spending time on the patio which is why the owners picked this condo.

The owners just purchased this condo in October 1013 and started remodeling ASAP. We welcomed our first guest 11/27/2013. They have rented through VRBO since 2012 and are the previous owners of condo 111.

Stay in a private condo with a full kitchen that satisfies all your needs versus a hotel that does not have this accommodation.

Unlike a hotel you get the comforts of a full kitchen and the choice to dine in instead of eating out your entire vacation.

The Maravilla complex has 3 pools, a hot tub, outdoor grilling, a gym/ business area, and much more. Our east side pool is currently scheduled to be heated by the end of 12/13 so you can enjoy a nice heated swimming pool during the cooler winter months. We have convenient restrooms located in the pool areas.

Convenient elevators throughout that are also located close to the condo. Coin operated laundry facilities right down the hall. Everything is very easy to access.

New to the east side of the complex is a go cart rental track and arcade. Walk over and enjoy. we are also within walking distance of putt putt golf, 1st class batting cages, and much more.

We are minutes away from many beach pocket parks, Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. If you want to know more about our local attraction please contact our property manager. Be sure to visit Jimmy's on the pier. The pier is within walking distance and serves all meals. They also rent fishing poles if you would like to enjoy some additional time on the pier fishing.

Full kitchen with all you need, DVD player, and 2 tv's. Wifi services provided in the condo.

The grounds are beautiful featuring 3 pools and a hot tub that is warm year around. Our east side pool is expected to be heated by the end of 2013. Our condo is on the historical Seawall toward the west end so easy to get to any of the attractions and restaurants. A bit away from the hustle of the main island yet minutes away fro all the fun. The beach is right across the street.

What makes this condo unique

Enjoy this top floor view even while sitting on the couch. The perfect spot to have a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine outside.

Spring Break get away

Myself, my husband, and my adult children went on a spring break get away. The condo had more room then I expected. Seven of us stayed and slept comfortably. Having the kitchen was wonderful and it was equipped nicely. The interior was just as shown in the pictures, as was the view. Shopping was close by and the public beaches were in very close proximity. We walked to miniature golf, batting cages, and go carts. We used the pool/BBQ area to cook out and visit with some local family members. We had a minor concern our first night and Christina was easy and efficient to work with; problem was resolved timely. Charming rental!!!

Great condo

The condo was very nice and clean but the moment everyone was on the balcony is when I knew for certain I made the right decision on which place to rent (that's not to say that the interior wasn't great but the view is what really sold it). It has a really great view of the grounds of the complex and an even better view of the gulf. The balcony is very spacious, to give an idea as to how big it was there were 7 of us and we took up less than half of the balcony when everyone was out there sitting around the table. The hot tub and the heated pool were awesome! The pool was warm enough to swim very comfortably even in 50 to 55 degree F outside temperature (steam did come off the water as we approached it so the water had to of been at least 90 degrees F ). As for the hot tub it felt great. If this place is available when you're taking your vacation I highly recommend it!

Nice condo

The condo had plenty of space for our group of 6 and nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, even the bunk beds. The pool area is nice. Be sure to keep the agents number in case you need any supplies. The management lady was not real helpful and always referred us to the agent. Overall I would recommend this condo.

CONS:

Parking - Parking is $15 per car, there is no public transit to this place, how does the owner expect people to get this is place CAB? If you are a Texan, you will drive, so the owner of this place should cover the parking.

Trash Bag - One large trash can with one bag, ask front desk for additional, response is that owner expect you need to bring it

Towel - The room is equipping for 8 people, there are only 8 towels, if you plan to go to beach or pool, you better have extra towel.

Owner's Response: I hate to see a review like this simply because the traveler failed to read the required information necessary for booking. When a party books with us they agree they have read the contract. The HOA imposes the $15 fee for parking, not the owner. This is for grounds usage and to provide a night security service during our buys season. This cost is not imposed by the owner. Towels- We advise the towels are NOT to be take out of the condo AT ALL. You must bring your own beach and pool towels. This is even listed in the advertisement. Trash Bags- We do supply a start up amount of trash bags as we cannot leave an unlimited amount. Sadly this is due to abuse and the fact that we cannot know how many bags one may need for their stay. It is well advised to bring items needed for the duration of your stay. We provide only start up amounts of all items. As a manager of 34 units at the Maravilla I always remind guests to read about their unit. I have you all agree you have read the documents we send and this is why. This type of confusion is unfortunate and can be prevented if everyone reads the contract we do require. The time any guest takes to provide feedback is always appreciated. If you are a future guest please make sure you ask us any questions and read all documentation to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Thank you Christina Stevens, property manager

Beautiful condo and view

This is the second time we have stayed at the Maravilla, but the first time at this particular condo. This condo is beautifully decorated and the view is exactly how it is shown in the pictures. Very nice utensils and cookware, which was important to us because we were traveling with kids and a grandchild so we cooked a lot. Beds were very comfortable. It has a very large patio and the main pool was nice and clean. I was concerned about mosquitos because of our last stay 2 years ago and another reviewer's comments, however, I never saw a mosquito while we were there. The only thing I wish this property provided was a larger pet area, but it was big enough. Lastly, it is about 10 minutes from the Pleasure Pier, but we like that it is away from all of the traffic. We will stay again.

We do wish we had a bit bigger pet area but we have reserved so much room for our 3 pools and lovely grounds that we can only provide the walking area designated. The Maravilla is one of the few vacation rentals spots that does allow a tenant to bring their 4 legged babies so pets are very important to us and I will pass the feedback onto the HOA. We appreciate your kind words so much and the time you took to provide them. We look forward to your return stay with us in the future.

We are minutes away from Moody Gardens, the famous Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Our historical Strand district offers shopping and much more. Are you a pirate fan? Enjoy Pirates Legends of the Gulf Coast which is also located on the Strand. Artist Boat gives you the chance to take a once in a lifetime trip through out wetlands and paint your adventure via kayak. In addition, to the above you can always count on Galveston to welcome all visitors with open arms to numerous beaches.

Stop by Jimmy's on the Pier which is within walking distance from the condo. You can eat breakfast, lunch, of dinner at Jimmy's, and fish the pier. Forget your fishing pole? Jimmy's has poles to rent if needed. Contact our property manager who is a native Galvestonian for more information.
