When we travel, my husband leaves finding a place to stay up to me because he knows I'm picky and I can find great deals! Both of us were very pleased with my selection this time. What a nice place! This is not your typical rental. It was more like a home away from home. Very tastefully decorated throughout (yes, that matters!) and more importantly, stocked with anything you would need to be comfortable-even a hairdryer under the bathroom sink and coffee in the pantry. Extra nice linens on the bed, big, fluffy towels in the bath and a fully-equipped kitchen. Everything was spotless. The property owner obviously wants guests to enjoy their stay. It worked! We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends and family. The seawall location made it great for an early morning walk. Although there's no sand and beach out the front door, there's easy beach access just a quarter mile down the road. There's also a Wal-Mart nearby for groceries and snacks (or sunscreen and pool toys!) Covered parking is a nice feature (especially in the heat of summer) and the unit's location near the front, one floor up makes for convenient and easy acces from the garage. The leasing agent was great to work with, answering all our questions and giving us all the info we needed to make our stay worry-free. Check-in was easy, the office personnel are friendly and know their stuff. Although I was attracted by the special fall rate, it will be all the special touches that will keep us coming back! We had a great Galveston getaway.
