Unit 503, our vacation home in Orange Beach, is in the perfect location within one of the premier buildings on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The building is located in an exclusive residential setting (homes not businesses across the street on the bay side) yet just a couple of miles from grocery shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Our 2 BR, 2 1/2 bath unit on the 5th floor/6th level (parking garage on ground floor pushes all floors up a level) is just high enough for a great ocean view yet low enough to feel connected with the beach. The British Colonial furnishings with sophisticated safari accented decor is definitely appointed for the discriminating vacationer. The condo is located about 1/4 mile from the AL/FL state line on the Perdido Key end of Orange Beach, AL. It won't take you long to realize that this beach condo is truly loved by its owners, and we look forward to sharing our precious vacation getaway with you!

About The Owner

We live in Athens, AL near the AL/TN state line with our teenage son. We fell in love with the Alabama Gulf Coast over twelve years ago when we began vacationing here twice a year with our (then) young son. Once we stayed at Regency Isle, we never wanted to stay anywhere else and eventually decided to purchase a unit of our own.

After living near downtown Huntsville for 20 years, we moved a little north to Athens to find a slower-paced area for our son to grow up. We both grew up in Tennessee, so we have friends and family in both states.

My husband received his bachelors degree from the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!), and I received my bachelors degree from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide!). We both received masters degrees from the University of AL in Huntsville (UAH), so we will always have strong ties to Huntsville, as well.

We've both traveled to many beautiful beaches but can honestly say there is no coastline more beautiful than the Alabama Gulf Coast.

This year, 2014, will be our second year to share our wonderful condo and we look forward to meeting and working with fellow lovers of the Alabama Gulf Coast. Welcome back to all of our 2013 guests, and we're looking forward to communicating with if you are considering vacationing in our condo for the first time!

Why The Owner chose Orange Beach

This property has been our choice pick over the twelve years that we've been vacationing at the Alabama Gulf Coast. The balconies are truly the best we've seen, and the large open floor plan and high ceilings provide a true feeling of luxury. We also like the location of Regency Isle. It's located away from the hustle and bustle in a residential area but still close enough for shopping and to enjoy all of the great restaurants that the area has to offer. It's also directly across the street from Ono Island, a quiet, upscale residential community, which makes it nice for those who enjoy a quiet, more reclusive, atmosphere.

What makes this condo unique

The location is unequaled if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway that's slightly removed from the crowds but still close to shopping and entertainment. The large Gulf front balconies and the open floor plans are what this complex is known for. The ocean is what draws us all back to the Alabama Gulf Coast and the private balcony in this unit is where you'll find your peace and serenity on the Gulf.

Spectacular views. Great Condo that was beautiful and welcoming.

The condo was everything and more that was described in the overview. The moment we drove up and parked in our assigned parking space and could see the beach view from the garage we knew we had arrived to a very special place. The grounds were very well kept and felt inviting.

The condo was spacious, provided all the comforts of home and was so beautifully decorated. Absolutely lovely!!

Attention to detail was everywhere from the bath towels that were very plush to the furnishings that were both beautiful to look at and very comfortable. I loved the ceiling fans as they were very efficient and a lovely addition to the condo decor.

Easy access to the pool and beach was awesome. We loved having our own lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach and the attendant was great checking to make sure we had enough shade from the umbrella adjusting as needed.

Relaxing on the balcony became one of my favorite activities along with using the fabulous pool and going to the beach. The balcony was spacious and yet very private. So relaxing for mind and body to look out and see the ocean and hearing the waves coming into the beach. Awesome!

Felt pampered and energized during our stay. It was everything and more than hoped for in a getaway weekend. Only wished for more time and would like to visit again.

Perfect Getaway!

Just got back from our vacation at this property. We are so glad we chose this condo. Beautifully decorated throughout with so many "little" details that really make a difference. Lined curtains that fully close are so thoughtful because sometimes we do not wish to wake up at dawn. The wire rolling baskets in the closets were SO convenient. The condo also had extra hooks for hanging things, beautiful crown molding, comfortable beds and sofas, but probably my favorite was the deep balcony. I have arthritic knees so walking on the beach is very hard for me now. But this balcony was so deep, I was able to lounge on it and read books and feel just like I was on the beach. You feel the breeze, hear and see the surf and get to be in the shade just like a being in a lounge chair with an umbrella on the sand. Of course, if you wish the chairs and umbrella are waiting for you on the beach. It is so nice to have the option of the balcony though. The loungers on the balcony were very comfortable and the table with swivel chairs became a favorite gathering spot. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. When we return to the Orange Beach area, we will definitely be staying at this condo!

We try to think of a few things to add each time we visit, not only to keep the furnishings and décor current, but to enhance the ergonomics in any way possible. A couple of days after you left, we had an outlet installed on the balcony. Only a few units in our building have outlets on the balcony, as they were not installed during development. When you return, you'll have power for your laptop while lounging on the balcony, something I'm looking forward to, myself. Perfect Condo!

This condo was perfect for our 2nd annual Mom's beach vacation! We had 6 ladies, and there was plenty of room. The balcony is huge with lots of furniture. The kitchen is great and had all we needed. In fact, we loved it so much we already have it reserved for next year!

As return visitors to this condo, I can only say that once again our expectations were met above and beyond what we've experienced at other condos! It was immaculate, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated yet had a "homey" feeling. I can't say enough how having that extra 1/2 bath helps out, also! The owners are the best I've ever dealt with through VRBO and go the extra mile to make sure all is well before, during, and after your stay. We'll definitely be back----again!

BEAUTIFUL!!!

This condo was far beyond our expectations.......so beautiful and spacious, plenty of room for our family of 5. The view from the very large balcony was absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorites was the kitchen that had just about anything you could possibly need. It was also so nice when the owner fit us in when we asked to purchase an extra day at the last minute. LOVED IT........already talking with my husband to return next summer.

Hey two years and it keeps getting better. Extremely modern in decoration, all the needed cooking items, and very clean. It is a property to you need to look at for any length of stay. We have been staying at Regency Isle for about 10 years and this is the best unit yet. We will book it again when we return next summer.
