Spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath home near Mt. Alyeska

Experience a slice of Alaska! Relax in the 6 person outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing, or play billiards after dinner in this lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bath home located in beautiful Girdwood, Alaska. This custom home has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable visit, suitable for up to 10 guests. (We have recently added one twin bed to two of the bedrooms, in order to suit your group’s desired bedding configuration. There is an extra charge of $25 per person per night for each extra person above the ten person occupancy for this house. Contact us for rates for groups of twelve). Enjoy the great room with granite stone floor, radiant floor heating, and 20 foot vaulted ceiling with 12 foot windows facing Alyeska Mountain. The open floor plan of the living room and kitchen invites guests to linger around the gas fireplace, enjoy a meal around the large dining room table, or watch ski movies on the flat screen cable TV with DVD player. You can even catch up on your email with the high speed WiFi. The master bedroom has a fireplace, private bathroom with walk in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The four bedrooms are located upstairs, along with a loft with a futon bed, another full bath and laundry room with washer, dryer and folding area.

From this home that is centrally located with a view of Mt. Alyeska, you can venture out to ski (downhill and cross-country), hike, shop, bike, fish, dine at fine restaurants, romp in the community built playground, go paragliding, helicopter skiing or flightseeing, and more.

For those frosty mornings, you can park your car, bikes or skis in the large, 2 car garage. Children are welcome, making this the ideal spot for a family and friends vacation get away.

About Trisha Wenger or Julie Jonas

We bought our Girdwood home in 2007, moving back to the United States after 11 years overseas (including 6 years in Switzerland). Living in Girdwood was a great way to renew our love of the mountains, and we thoroughly enjoy hiking and fishing in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Our jobs took us to Seattle recently this year, but because we love this house so much, we’re keeping the house, and hope you will enjoy it too!

We spent a wonderful relaxing weekend in this spacious home. There were 10 of us that stayed and it was more than comfortable. Gorgeous kitchen, pool table and hot tub, beautiful views of the mountain throughout, especially at night when it's lit up for night skiing.
