Our 17th Century cottage once part of an old ale house, has been renovated to a high standard, but still retains that olde worlde charm. They are all well furnished and well equipped, making them homes and not just holiday cottages. Situated in a conservation area. The courtyard leads down to the banks of the river Waveney with over 2 acres of garden and woodland. It's so peaceful, you can just sit back and relax and watch the wildlife, Swans, Ducks, Owls, Heron, even Otter, or just feed the fish and watch them jump. Gazebo, garden furniture, and BBQ. Fishing is available in season, its also an ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing, and touring Norfolk and Suffolk.

One of our 17th century cottages, renovated to a high standard but still retaining lead lights, beams and many of it's original features, the accommodation is on ground level, lounge with T.V. video, DVD, radio and CD. dining room, with dining table and chairs. Patio doors open into the courtyard, kitchen is well fitted and well equipped, fridge with freezer, washing machine is available in main Laundry room. The bedroom has twin beds, Edwardian wardrobe, and dressing table and chair. bathroom, with bath, w.c and hand basin. outside a patio, with garden furniture, parking for 2 cars. The cottage shares over 2 acres of garden with other guests, garden runs down to the banks of the river waveney, fishing is available in season. BBQ, garden furniture.

Brockdish is a small village, situated in the waveney valley, Ideal for touring Suffolk and Norfolk and Central for Norwich Ipswich, The large market town of Bury st Edmunds. The unspoiled seaside town of Southwold and pier. Dunwich beach, Heath and forest, Minsmere nature reserve, all within easy reach. Local attractions include Bressingham gardens, and steam museum, Banham Zoo, Billingford Mill, Framlingham castle, Flixton aviation museum, Thetford forest. American bomber 100th base and museum. Lopham fen, Thornham country park. Public swimming pools in Diss, Stradbroke. Many local fishing lakes, and fishing from our river bank in season. Small local market towns include Diss, Harleston, Bungay and Beccles. Many local walks including the Angles way, that runs through the village, along the river it starts at Lopham fen and runs along the river as far as Great Yarmouth. You can find Pubs, takeaways and Restaurants and coffee shops in Harleston or Diss our nearest towns.
