Welcome to our Condo!!!
Condo living at its best. This top floor waterfront condo is 815 sq. ft and it has an 815 sq.ft ROOF TOP PATIO. From it you have views of the Inner Harbour, Olympic Mountains, Gorge Waterway, Chinatown and the Parliament Buildings. Boutiques, art galleries, shopping and restaurants galore are steps away. During the day enjoy the bustle of the harbour teaming with ferries, float planes and kayakers. In the evening, marvel at the brightly lit Parliament Buildings.
In the winter snuggle in the comfy condo, light the gas fireplace complete with a hand finished hearth and listen to music, read a book, watch the flat screened TV complete with 5:1 Surround Sound wiring.
The condo has just been completely redone. The stairs leading to the roof top patio match the fireplace hearth which is made of kiln dried birch.
The kitchen has top of the line appliances, quartz counter tops and custom wood cabinets which follow through to the dining room. It is well equipped to prepare a lovely meal. The dining room table comfortably sits four. A wine fridge keeps your libations at a perfect temperature. Above it is a granite top serving area.
The new Bolton king size bed has a pillow top mattress and plush duvet. The bedroom and living room have Juliet balconies from which you can watch the harbour activities.
The bathroom includes a large soaker tub, heatlamp and locally made lotions.
The private rooftop patio is a welcome addition to the condo. It has a comfortable sitting area, table and chairs to sit at for meals, gas barbeque, small fridge and an abundance of flowers and trees. Depending on the season, you can enjoy apples, cherries, strawberries or pick herbs to enhance your cooking. You will not tire of the views and because it is very private, it is easy to relax to read, nap or just collect your thoughts.
The condo includes a secure underground parking stall.
We love the coast and all that it offers. Even though we can't live there at this time, it never leaves us. We think our condo is in the perfect location to explore Victoria as well as to relax and to recharge. Because it is a gem of a place, we want to share it it with others. John is a construction superintendent and I just retired from teaching.
Carol Johnson purchased this condo in 2010
The first time we walked down Swift street to the condo, we knew we had found something special. We had a view of the water which became even better once we entered our unit. It is spacious, bright and from the living room, we can forget time as we watch the activity in the water.front. When we want to leave our tranquil environment, we can walk to restaurants, shopping and trails.
We have a private rooftop garden with views of the Parliament buildings, Johnson Street Bridge and the waterway. Whether you view this from the rooftop or the condo, you will feel a calmness and a sense of peace.
Enjoy the fresh fruit grown on the rooftop. We have strawberries, cherries and apples. The bright flowers add an abundance of colour and mixes well with the smell of the sea.
Wonderfully decorated condo. We enjoyed staying in a great location downtown Victoria. We had perfect weather to enjoy our morning coffee in the private terrace. It was wonderful to have the Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. The condo is a perfect place to stay. We have already recommended it to others. Colette met us and showed us around and how to work everything. Love the Victoria area and was able to go whale watching with the Orca Spirit and saw lots of killer whales. Only issue would be noise from the construction of the bridge when the windows were open but only during the day and not at all during the weekend. Stairs to terrace are quite steep but there is elevator access for any one with limited mobility.
Probably the best condo we have ever rented. The location was great, the rooftop garden was so unique. The condo was superbly finished with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay here again.
Great condo but the roof patio and underground parking made it special. Air conditioning would have been a great benefit especially in the bedroom.
My husband and I stayed here last week and couldn't have been more pleased. The condo was perfect for the two of us. They have new furniture and arrangement, different from the website, and it is very comfortable. The condo is situated in a great location. There are numerous restaurants in the area, wonderful bike trails and hiking. Water taxis are right there so you can travel across the bay. There are an abundant number places to visit/sightsee and lots of shopping. We look forward to visiting this beautiful city and hopefully staying here again. To quote my husband "this is a do-over." :)
We loved our stay in this penthouse condo! It's very comfortable, well appointed and exceptionally clean. It's just as beautiful in person as in the photos! The rooftop garden was lovely. It felt like climbing into a tree house! It's conveniently located near Chinatown and it's easy to walk anywhere downtown.
The only negative is that the condo can get warm at night and the windows need to be opened. At times there can be traffic and people noise. I have to admit I live in the country, so I'm used to just hearing crickets and owls at night. Perhaps a fan would help. However, if I vacation in Victoria again, I would definitely consider staying here.
We stayed 3 nights this property. It's in a great location - close to restaurants, shopping, biking and hiking trails. The condo was clean, well equipped, comfortable, well maintained and had a great view. The roof top patio/garden and BBQ were a nice addition. Felt like "home away from home". The owner and the on-site greeter were friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would definitely book this unit again in the future.
We hope you enjoy your stay in Victoria and your stay at our condo.
From it you have views of the Inner Harbour, Olympic Mountains, Gorge Waterway, Chinatown and the Parliament Buildings. Boutiques, art galleries, shopping and restaurants galore are steps away. In the summer take in the many festivals, the Sunday market, street performances and other cultural events. In the winter snuggle in the comfy condo, light the gas fireplace complete with a hand finished hearth and listen to music, read a book, watch a movie or TV.
Historic Chinatown is steps away from the condo. Meander through Fantan Alley to learn about its significance. Enjoy a meal, buy fresh vegetables and fruit or browse through the many shops.
Galloping Goose Trail is adjacent to the condo. This is an extensive trail system on which you can walk, run, bike, cycle or ride a horse. It follows the old railway line.
Horse drawn carriages take you through the inner harbour past historic sites and places of interest. If you prefer, double decker busses are available to take you on sight seeing tours. The tours include trips to Butchart Gardens, wine tours and tours up island. The Harbour Island ferry can be caught at Mermaid Wharf. It takes you up the Gorge, Fisherman's Wharf and the Empress Hotel (to name a few).
The Royal BC Museum and IMAX theater is always worth a visit. It houses the human and natural history of BC and brings in exhibits from other countries.
