A full bath with bathtub and skylight, a beautiful gated back yard with patio furniture and BBQ for entertainment as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience. Breathtaking views of Catalina Island and beach views from every room.

Local Laguna Summer events: Sawdust Festival, Festival of the Arts, Live Theater Productions Art-a-Fair, and the Famous Pageant of the Masters.

Laguna Beach is one of the most scenic cities in Sounthern California and is especially diverse with landforms that range from small sandy coves, rocky points and mountainous terrain that practically drops into the ocean. With diving, surfing, skim boarding, swimming, sunbathing and tidepools, kayaking, snorkeling/diving, wildlife viewing, hiking, boating, you will find yourself mesmerized by the beautiful Laguna Beach beaches.

The majority of the meters in Laguna Beach have two hour limits and charge $0.25 for each 15 minutes. Laguna Beach boast that it is the only city in Orange County that has its own public transportaion. The free shuttle runs during the day and nigh in the summer. The gray line bus route that takes you to the TOP OF THE WORLD brings you to our doorstep for a minimal charge. (see scheduled of times)

Why Maggie Butter chose Laguna Beach

My family and I grew up in So. Cal. and we would spend all our summer vacations driving down to Laguna Beach. It was always a perfect place for our family vacations. We could spend hours in the tidepools. Many occasions we had the opportunity to save some marine life that would get trapped. On many occasions we would witness pools of Dolfins swimming and playing. Its a perfect place to relax and be grounded with the beauty of nature. Our dream was for someday to own a place we could call home in Laguna.

What makes this cottage unique

We shopped around for 2 years until we finally found our match, it was small and cozy with MESMERIZING VIEWS yet, what closed the deal was the large front and back yards. This would allow the children space to play without any fear of falling off a cliff. IT'S AMAZING AND WE LOVE IT!!!

We spent an extraordinary eight days at the cottage. The comfort and view were beyond what is seen in the pictures. Laguna Beach is by far the most breath taking city I've seen and this cottage location takes full advantage of the view. The landscaping provides an oasis type feel and provides privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and the beds are quite comfy. Some evenings we were content to just relax in the big lounge chairs and take in Laguna beach seen from the huge picture windows.

We spent a great stay at the house. It was even better than the description on the website. The kids felt just like at home. We had everything we needed to cook, to go to the beach and to get relaxed. In addition the view was breathtaking !

We didn't want to leave. It really was a great romantic getaway for Erika and me. Great views, well appointed cottage, convenient to everything but private and quiet. We hiked up behind the house, went to the farmers market and brought home some beautiful food, made all of our meals "at home" and enjoyed the views. Could not recommend it more highly.

While we had booked and eagerly anticipated our Laguna get-away, we had to cancel our paid reservation due to my husband's invitation to participate in conference and training events in Europe. Our problem was that the conference and seminars are scheduled for dates when we had planned to be soaking up the sun and enjoying this lovely property in charming Laguna. Of course, we didn't want to forfeit the funds that we had paid for the property rental.

In addition to all of the other positive comments listed here about this rental, the business practices and cooperation of the owner deserve high praise. She was very understanding about our scheduling dilemma and bent over backwards to release us from the rental agreement we had signed. Because we had booked our rental along with the VRBO renter's insurance, all of our rental money was returned to us. Maggie went to bat for us to ensure that we would recover the rental fees that we had paid. Frankly, she could have been indifferent to our schedule conflict, collected our money, and, if she'd been unscrupulous, she could have even rented the home again for the same period and doubled her income. But, no, she was warm, understanding, honorable, and went out of her way to release us from the rental agreement and refund our money.

If you are seeking a rental with a property owner who you know that you can trust, you've come to the right place with this charming home and Maggie, the owner. Rest assured that she will honor your rental agreement and bend over backwards to provide everything that is included with this rental.

This house surpassed our expectations. The views are amazing, the backyard is so spacious. Great for entertaining and watching the sunset over beautiful Laguna beach.
The kitchen is updated and has all the amenities you would ever need.
The bed was very comfortable. The owner met us and it was a great personal touch!
She was very accommodating. I highly recommend staying at this property. You will not be disappointed.
