One of the first houses built in the Ogden area, this 1887 farmhouse has a lot of charm and comfort. It is completely updated to make your stay pleasant, and is right off the Ogden River Parkway. Minutes to downtown Ogden and only 13 miles from Snowbasin Resort
About Tamara Anderson

We travel between our Maui and Utah homes, enjoying the best of two worlds! We all love to surf and hike on Maui, and to mountain bike and snowboard in Utah. We also love the various outdoor adventures that are available to us in the Rocky Mountain West!

The house is located at the western end of Lorin Farr Park. It has unobstructed views of the mountains and has a huge soccer field and playground right across the street. There is a community swimming pool and a skate park, as well as the rodeo grounds all connected to the Park. The shaded bike path that runs beside the Ogden River not only connects a series of parks and trails, but restaurants and bars as well. Great mountain biking and hiking trails are accessible from the River Parkway at the base of Ogden Canyon.

We found the house to very nicely updated and convenient to everything. We were in Ogden for a family funeral and had lots of visitor during our five day stay. Overall, this home was well furnished and equiped and we will use it during our next visit to Ogden.

I recently transitioned to Ogden and needed a place to stay while I got the lay of the land. The moment I walked in the door this place felt like home. The photos simply do not do this home justice; it is charming, warm, comfortable and welcoming, far beyond what can be conveyed on the web site. The owners have restored and maintained this home with an attention to detail that can only be done by someone who truly cares for their property. The home was well appointed with everything that I needed for an extended stay. The house is conveniently located near the historic district, has views of the mountain, and is across the street from a park. Tamara quickly replied to my inquiries, checked in on me when I arrived, and made sure that I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Truly, I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit Ogden.
