Photos and Description of the Hereford & Worcester vacation cottage rental Riverside setting in pretty village. A haven of beauty and tranquility

The accommodation comprises two levels. Downstairs there is an open plan arrangement with beautiful old oak flooring and slate tiles, comprising a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting room areas, and a shower room. Upstairs on a mezzanine floor, surrounded on all sides by a glass balcony, are two single beds. For a cosy winter break the cottage is exceptionally warm with its underfloor heating. Outside the main entrance, overlooking the gardens, is an oak decked area where our guests enjoy al fresco dining on warm summer evenings. River Garden Cottage is set within the grounds of Riversdale House which lies beside the River Arrow. The property is bordered by a private 1/4 mile stretch of river which our guests can fish for trout and grayling. Should you wish to bring your children or invite friends, there is plenty of space in our adjoining field for pitching a tent - (phone us to discuss).

An idyllic country escape, set in the beautiful riverside gardens of Riversdale House, this charming cottage lies in the picture-postcard Black and White village of Eardisland in rural, peaceful Herefordshire countryside. The Welsh border landscape is truly beautiful – the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons, Malvern Hills and south Shropshire hills are all within easy reach – a wonderful backdrop to the popular pastimes of walking, fishing, canoeing, horse riding and cycling. Historic Hereford’s cathedral and famous chained library and Ludlow’s gourmet delights are 14 miles away. Book lovers will enjoy nearby Hay-on Wye for its world-famous book shops and its Literary Festival in May, whilst the Black and White and Mortimer Trails are both well worth exploring. Local shop in Pembridge 2 miles. At the River Garden Cottage you will enjoy comfort, peace and tranquillity whatever the season.
