Newly remodeled in August 2012! We replaced EVERYTHING from floor to ceiling. We love how it turned out and hope you will too. Everything is new: stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, beautiful furnishings, luxury mattresses, high def LCD TVs!! The travertine flooring is awesome (owner is in the flooring business – he hand-picked the individual floor tiles and had the tile specially shipped to the island).
Ocean Front! Ground floor location - you step out the sliding doors, cross the lanai onto a grassy area for sun bathing and then walk down a few steps to the sandy beach for swimming and snorkeling. The convenience of the ground floor is that you can dip in the ocean, step inside to grab a cool drink, and then walk outside to relax on the chaise lounge.
Views! The living room has floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic ocean view. The Mahana condos are unique because the bedroom has a view too. The bedroom sliders open onto the spacious lanai where you can enjoy your morning coffee with ocean breezes and the view.
The living area has a sumptuous sofa to relax upon. The two side chairs swivel allowing you to be part of the conversation in the living area or turn to view the ocean! The new 42 inch flat screen TV is LCD high def and has a Blu-ray DVD. A slider in the living area also opens to the covered lanai. In the evening, step out on the lanai and watch the sun disappear into the ocean between the islands of Lanai and Molokai.
Kitchen and bath are top-of-the-line with granite countertops and stainless appliances. The black granite in the kitchen and bath is wonderful, with bits of rock that sparkle in the light. Serve snacks at our granite countertop dining area or enjoy a meal at the glass top dining set. There is a new washer and dryer. The unit has central air conditioning.
Bedroom has a King-sized Bed with luxury pillow top Beauty Rest Mattress plus ceiling fan and 37’ flat screen LCD high def TV. Living room sofa converts into a queen bed.
Whale watching – Whales arrive around December and leave around April. Watch for whale spouts and whales leaping out of the water. There are various whale watching boat tours offered at the local marina or watch from the condo.
The condo is within easy walking distance to Duke’s Beach House restaurant and bar. There is a shopping area about a block away with a grocery store, pizza and gelato, snorkeling shops, etc. Enjoy a walk along the new pathway that stretches from the Mahana to the south end of Kaanapali resort. Walk by the golf courses, shops, restaurants and resorts. Mahana is centrally located, just a short drive to a wide range of shops and restaurants in Whalers Village and in Old Lahaina Town.
Our development features a beachfront pool with a jacuzzi tub. There is a snack bar by the pool as well as Weber BBQs. Buy fresh fish from the local market and grill it for dinner.
Activities: Golfing, Catamaran sail to Lanai, Snorkeling at Molokini, Parasailing, helicopter tours, jet skiing, zip lines, luaus. Scenic drive to Hana and the Haleakula crater. Hikes along Kapalua Costal Trail. Exploring the shops and restaurants at Kaanapali resort and Lahaina. Visit the historic homes and the banyan tree in Lahaina. Fabulous beaches and snorkeling locations.
