Montecastillo Golf Resort and Spa is ideally located for a vast range of activities and amenities. Immediately next door to the resort sits the Circuito de Velocidad, the world class speed track which homes the Spanish Moto GP every May. A short bike ride from the villa will take you to the village of Estella del Marques, full of character and providing several amenities along with a fabulous fresh bread shop and a first class mountain bike trail. Jerez de la Frontera, just a 10 minute drive from the villa, is a bustling centre of activity with shops, bars, restaurants, banks, cinemas, pharmacies, etc along orange tree-lined streets. Jerez is a centre of equestrianism and flamenco and is best known for giving its name to sherry. Within a short drive are the stunning beaches of the Costa de lla Luz and the beautiful white villages.   • The 5 spacious bedrooms all have ensuite bath/shower rooms as well as large wardrobes. The master bedroom occupies the entire 1st floor with an opulent four poster bed in the centre of the room and private balcony with views over the golf course to charming Jerez in the distance. The ground floor bedroom has windows which open directly over the pool - perfect for rolling out of bed and diving straight in for your morning swim! This room is also suitable for wheelchair access with no steps being encountered on the ground floor of the villa and terrace. Two of the lower ground floor bedrooms open up with french windows onto the lawn which overlooks the 9th fairway. The final bedroom has a unique position with windows directly into the swimming pool.

On arrival you will be met by our Spanish/English speaking property manager who will show you around and give you keys. The apartment is suitable for children and 2 cots and 2 high chairs are available on request. Please note, the interior of the villa is non-smoking, however you can smoke on the terraces or in the garden. Without doubt one of the area's principal natural resources is its wide range of beaches, with white fine sand and transparent water. There are a total of 138km of beaches along the coast. The beautiful beaches of El Puerto de Santa Maria and Cadiz are a short drive from the villa.

The villa is just 10 minutes from the centre of Jerez, the home of sherry and horses in Spain and the birthplace of flamenco; 25 minutes from the Costa de la Luz – some of the most unspoilt beaches in Spain; 45 minutes from stunning, historic Seville; 20 minutes from one of Spain's largest national parks providing a huge variety of outdoors activities.

Golf: The villa sits on the 9th fairway of Montecastillo Golf Resort and Spa. Designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus, Montecastillo Golf course is widely regarded as the finest golf course in the province of Cadiz. It has been rated the 5th best course in Europe and been ranked as the 53rd best golf course in the world by the respected Golf World magazine. Even Mr. Nicklaus considers this course as one of his best designs.The course opened in 1993 and has been host to a number of prestigious tournaments: the Turespana Masters in 1994 and 1996, the Volvo Masters from 1997 to 2001 and the final of the Peugeot Tour from 2001 to 2003. Montecastillo hotel also provides a first-class spa and fitness centre, tennis courts, paddle tennis, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, as well as high quality restaurants and bar.
