This independent cottage is new and custom built with high quality surfaces of granite, marble, sandstone, onyx, tile, copper, bamboo, and locally salvaged hardwoods. The space is practical, clean, and well ventilated with lots of natural day light, and gorgeous warm evening lighting. The fully equipped kitchen features a high quality water filter, dishwasher, gas range/oven, large fridge with filtered ice maker, dual elevation counter tops and serving bar. The patio has a grill and great sunset views. The cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 couples or a couple with 3-4 kids. There is a plush queen bed in the main bedroom with its own bathroom. There is a second queen bed in the living room, which works well as a second bedroom by closing the sliding glass door and curtains, blocking sound and light from the kitchen and opens to its own bathroom. The long sectional couch is a comfortable spot for kids to crash out on, and there is also a single fold up futon. Lots of pillows, sheets and blankets are provided. There is a built in desk and wireless high speed internet throughout the property.

The cottage is located in a pastoral setting of 3.5 acres with a magnificent banyan tree. So come throw a Frisbee, fly a kite, and beat your friends and family at croquet or bocce ball. Our main goal at Kokoiki Cottage is to provide you with a great livable space and support your vacation needs. We can provide the best massage therapists on the island and guarantee their work 100%. The living room easily accommodates two tables for couples massage. Hawi town is only 2 miles away for you to enjoy great restaurants, coffee shops, delis, galleries, and one of the best small town supermarkets where you can find island grass fed beef, fresh fish and local produce. Shop for lilikois, papayas, bananas, coconuts, lychee, mangoes, pineapples and more at Local Farmer’s Markets. The Volcano National Park is a 3 hour drive away. The Kona airport is just about 45 minutes away, though you may never want to leave this Big Island paradise.
