About Richard Lacey

What makes this villa unique

We love the hardwood ceilings, the granite surfaces in the kitchen and the high end finishes. The private pool is great and it is fantastic to be so close to the beach.

Langosta is a quiet upscale residential area, located less than a mile from Tamarindo village. The white sand beach is clean, beautiful and never busy

The house (really a townhouse in an upscale 10-unit property) is gorgeous, and except for a few minor glitches (sink stopped up once, AC was off on arrival, etc) everything was excellent. The house was very nicely decorated, and has a very tranquil courtyard garden and pool where we spent much of the week. The beach is about 20 yards away-across the road and down a path. While there is no real beach view from the home, the beach itself is stunning, (probaby the prettiest I've seen anywhere and my wife and I have done beach vacations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Vietnam, Belize, the Great Lakes, New England, Florida and Georgia.) It is uncrowded with beautiful waves, families and surfers. Next time I would buy beach chairs and spend more actual time on the beach.

Richard was a very responsive host and we would definitely rent through him again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
