You can spend the most beautiful time of the year at the margins of the Cretan village Plaka, approx. 1.5 km from the beach, in a landscape untouched by mass tourism. You have a fantastic view upon the Souda Bay and upon the White Mountains (Lefka Ori). You will never forget the sunsets here. The 5000 m² large, lovely tended, natural estate invites you to relax. The seating and grilling corner, covered by vine will be your favourite place. Our new, large vacation house has 3 floors and 2 apartments. You can reach your 86 m² large, charming apartment upstairs through a outside staircase. The light living room (39 m²), with classy ambient has an open, modern kitchen. Open the large, glass sliding doors and enjoy your breakfast with view upon the sea. The apartment downstairs (74 m²) has a separate entrance, directly from the garden.

Plaka is located in the western part of Crete, in the most traditional village of the island. It is located above from the small coast town, and it has a very healthy climate. The inhabitants of Plaka produce selected olive oil, wine and 'Tsikoudia', Cretan liquor. Plaka and the neighbouring villages are famous, as the Oscar nominated movie ‘Alexis Zorbas’ with Anthony Quinn was filmed here. In the village, you will find a few beautiful taverns, coffees and supermarkets. There is only 1 km to the sandy beaches of Almyrida. Within 5 km, you can reach the bigger town of Kalyves, where you can find a post office, a bank, and a large choice of shops.

Schönes Haus mit duftendem Garten in Traumlage!

Das Haus liegt etwas oberhalb des gemütlichen Dorfes Plaka. Man hat vom Haus eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Bucht von Souda und auf das Hochgebirge Kretas. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und überall duftet es nach Kräutern und Blüten. In der Pergola kann man es sich unter einem Weindach gemütlich machen und die Ruhe geniessen. Dieses Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Die Umgebung ist noch ursprünglich und Massentourismus findet man hier nicht. In den zahlreichen Tavernen kann man sehr gut essen. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich in der Nähe.In Almyrida(ca. 1km) findet man aber alles was man braucht. Ein Auto sollte man allerdings schon haben. Bis nach Chania sind es ca. 20-25 min.

Villa Diana liegt in ruhiger Lage und Blick auf das Meer. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist steil, aber man kann auch unten an der Straße parken. Die Angaben im Inserat waren exakt.Wir hatten die Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung im Erdgeschoss mit Kueche und sehr grossem Bad. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Schraenke, Schubladen und Kuechenutensilien ausreichend vorhanden. Rund um das Haus gibt es Ruheplätzchen. Auch die Gartenanlage ist schön. Betreuung am Ort hervorragend und zuverlaessig. Chania, Rethimnon, Georgiopolis und viele kleine griechische Dörfer sind herrlich bei Tag und bei Nacht. Empfehlenswert für Leute die gerne frei ihren Urlaub planen moechten und auf keine Hotelanimationen angewiesen sind. Ein Auto ist Vorraussetzung. Wir waren begeistert.
