Our shoreline is shallow with hard packed sand. It's great for taking walks or just sitting your chair on a sand bar. Many local activities year round make this location a popular destination. The fall and the winter are just as beautiful and can be a great quiet get away. You will love it!
Our family home has many great memories of good times on Lake Erie. We love the water sports that come along with lake front property. We treasure the lake as a valuable resource to enjoy.
Debbie purchased this house in 1992
Our vacation home is decorated lovely and is very spacious. The home is perfect for executive lodging and is available for long term rental during the off-season. Please inquire. You have easy access into the lake, it is very shallow and perfect for small children to play.
Enjoy your privacy while you watch sailboats, some lake activity, migratory birds and use your eagle eye to spot some of our bald eagle residents. Public boat docks are within one mile and you can anchor your boat off shore while you stay!
I recently rented this house to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The house was perfect for my gang. The owner is easy to work with. If the occasion arises again, I'd choose this house in a heartbeat.
We've used this house for our annual fishing trip for the past two years. We love the lakefront setting and there is plenty of space (beds, bathrooms, etc) to accommodate a large group. Look forward to our trip next year!
We couldn't have asked for more! The large, comfortable, homey house was perfect! Clean and well-stocked, nice furnishings, rooms were large for big group gathering and sleeping areas are pretty private. The entire north side of house is clad in glass overlooking Lake Erie. There is an enormous deck that borders the lake's edge. The water is shallow so there are plenty of waterfowl to watch. Felt like we were at a nature preserve. I even saw a Bald Eagle surveying the water from a perch high in a tree. Boats and jet skiis are at a far distance due to the shallow water so virtually no noise! The house is convenient to any necessities and entertainment in the area. The owner is wonderful. If I had the opportunity, I would return next weekend!
During our recent stay, my family and I made full use of this beautiful home which really is right on the water. The large deck facing Lake Erie was an extension of the house and was about 20 feet from one of the double sliding doors. The house itself was extremely clean, bright, cheery and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to navigate due to the open floor plan with the dining room immediately adjacent. Even though our visit was in the middle of July, I would imagine in the wintertime this would also be a wonderful retreat with the large fireplace being a dominant feature in the living room and dining room. Downtown Port Clinton was just a couple of miles away and had some great little shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a true Great Lake experience.
Great house! Lots of room for a big family or group!
This property is the absolute best place we've stayed on lake erie! Everything it said it was and more. The owners are very kind, thoughtful and accomodating. The house and the view are just lovely.Very clean and well maintained. We hope to make this home our place of R&R from now on!
