APARTAMENTO 3 DORMITORIOS CERCA DE LA PLAZA MAYOR HASTA 8 PERSONAS

We rented this apartment in October 2011. Cannot be a better quality/price relation.
The area is just wonderful, Madrid historical center, anything we wanted to see, from the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, La Puerta del Sol, Barrio de las Letras, Mercado de San Miguel, Las Cavas o El Prado museum is in a walking distance. No to mention the pleasure of walking trough through those charming streets and having tapas with the locals and chatting with them (we found Madrid people very convivial and helpful).
All transportations, bus, metro, taxis, are within one or two blocks but mostly we did not have a use for them.
All shopping is also nearby. We loved the Mercado de La Cebada, an old fashion market with everything one would need, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, bread, cheese, wine, oils and a long etc. It's very colorful and a wonderful experience. A modern huge supermarket can be found in the El Corte Ingles at the Puerta del Sol and there are plenty of little convenient stores nearby.
The apartment is in a quiet street and can hold a large party. It has 3 bedrooms, more sleeping arrangements in the living room, and the convenience of having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything one would need but we found tapas the cheapest and most delicious way to eat.
A remarkable thing about this apartment is how clean and well organize it is. We did really appreciate this.
Angel was very helpful and efficient and provided us with all information we needed. We will highly
recommend his apartment.
