This is a beautiful chalet with stunning views and just as described on the web-site. On arrival it was immaculately clean with a welcome pack waiting for us which included, most importantly, a bottle of wine!

Set in a quiet location just a short stroll to a large supermarket and the town of Bourg D'Oisans which has a number of bars & restaurants. We can recommend La Romanche, very friendly staff and fantastic food. The town is fairly quiet in early May but this suited us. If you're a cyclist, like us, the property is right at the start of the iconic climb up Alpe D'Huez. Other climbs, like the Col du Galibier and the Col de la Croix de Fer are close by too.

Rosie, the owner, was more than helpful. I emailed her several times with questions/queries and always got a prompt, polite and helpful reply. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this property. We are already making arrangements to come back next year.

The flat itself is beautiful and very well maintained - a lovely place to spend time. Wonderful views from the balcony The flat has a great kitchen and living area - perfect for a family.

It is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre where there a large number of shops and restaurants.

I rented the flat for the purpose of entering the Marmotte bicycle ride, and it was perfect for that. It was a gentle 5 minute ride to the start line, also the ride comes past the flat near the end. There is plenty of space available for storing bikes etc at the flat.
The climb to Alpe d'Huez is a few minutes away from the flat and there are many other great routes nearby (great route guide available from tourist information).
We also managed to see a stage of the Tour de France as it came through the Alps.
The area is really a cyclist's paradise.

Also a great place for walkers.

This is a great apartment with all the amenities you can think of. We were a group of 3 guys on a biking trip and the location was ideal. Few minutes walk to the supermarket and city center.

The apartment itself was fantastic. The highlight was the kitchen which we used daily during our 4 day stay. We found all the dishes we needed (plates, pots, pans, spoons, knives etc.) which was arranged very well. The owners have also stocked up on basic groceries like sugar , salt, ketchup etc. In fact after taking the trash out on the first day, I found a brand new roll of trash bag under the sink. Everything was meticulously planned and stocked.

The balcony with great a great view was ideal to unwind in the evenings. Every bed had an end table next to it with storage under the end table. The 4 beds were comfortable and the pillows and linens were comfy too. The shower head had good water pressure and the piping hot water was a soothing after a hard day of riding.

There was an iPod dock which we used for playing music and charging the unit. WiFi was a life saver for us since we heavily relied on iPad facetime to chat with our family back home.

There is private parking right at the entrance which was spacious. There is a private storage space which we did not use.

The owners have taken great care of this place and I am definitely planning to come back in the near future.
