The location is unparalleled with walking access to restaurants, pier, biking trails, harbor and shopping. Enjoy breathtaking rooftop views from this spacious upper level townhouse. The private beach is groomed and ready for your enjoyment! With beds for eight, this is a great destination for families or entertaining small groups. This destination offers very private and comfortable living, both in and outdoors. The wonderful private sandy beach is not all this home has to offer. The large ocean view great room has a large flat screen TV, fireplace and plenty of seating to watch the waves or TV. Kitchen has nice appliance and is stocked with all you will need to make meals at home, while looking at the ocean of course! Plenty of space on the patio to watch the surfers, the dolphins that come by daily or just lull yourself to to a relaxed state watching the waves roll in and out. The extra garage has plenty of beach toys and boogie boards for kids of all ages. If you haven't been to Oceanside lately, you should come see how much its changed, and all it has to offer. One of the flattest beach cities in San Diego you can literally park your car and walk or ride bikes everywhere. You can walk to the farmers market on Thursday mornings and get fresh local produce and food from hundreds of vendors, or walk to one of the longest piers in Southern California, and enjoy watching the surfers and fisherman. There are two restaurants to choose from right at the pier and one at the end of the pier. People have spotted all sorts of sea life from the pier including whales. On Thursday evenings they Street fair is back with live music, vendors with many options for gifts and every type of food you can imagine. There is now a small 'Stone Brewery' to stop in at and get a wonderful craft beer while sitting around an out door firepit. The famous 'Top Gun' house is located just a half mile away for a photo opportunity. If there is a movie you are wanting to see while on vacation, there is a theatre right up the street. There is also many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, surf shops, ice cream stores and much more to visit, and all of these are within walking and biking distance. The Oceanside Harbor is just a short distance further on bikes or by foot and offers water sports, and sailing- fishing- whale watching charter boats for hire. Or again just take in the view from one of the many restaurants or benches along the harbor. If you decide to get our of Oceanside, you can be at a half dozen theme parks within an hour: Disneyland, Disney California Adventures,Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, and all the Universal Studios are only a short drive further. Sports fans????? How about walking to the train station and riding it to see the San Diego chargers play or taking in the Padres at Petco park!!! There is also Balboa Park and the Gaslamp district within a 40-60 minute drive. Coronado island is also a great day trip. If you are a horse racing fan, we offer the Del Mar race track from mid July to September. Oceanside is the perfect 'home base' to see so much of what southern California offers. If hiking or adventure biking is your thing, we have amazing trails around San Diego for both of those too! In fact there is a very long 'coastal rail Trail' for bicycling enthusiasts to ride the train and hop off and ride your bikes all through Oceanside and down into San Diego. You will LOVE visiting Oceanside!!!
