A Perfect Fly Fishing Vacation !!

  • 5 of 5
The Jumping Rainbow Lodge was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was centrally located on the Missouri River giving us quick access to all of our destinations on the river... and speaking of the River... it is right in the Lodge's backyard! As for the accommodations, everything you need (less food) is already there. There were 5 in our group and each of us had our own double or queen size bed and with 2 bathrooms no one ever had to "wait in line". We never felt "cramped" for space either. We couldn't have been more pleased and plan to return.

Amazing fishing and amazing location.

  • 4 of 5
Beautiful home with lots of beds. Very clean. Many extra supplies you don't find in other rentals. A huge movie selection for tired evenings after fishing and camp fire. Great bathrooms and large effective laundry. View is incredible. Only downside is caretakers right outside your Back door. They are very kind and accommodating, but if you're looking for privacy, this might bother some people. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and hope to go back next year.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. We always appreciate our lodgers' feedback. It helps us be the best. We have two B E A U T I F U L acres and it takes countless hours of watering and tending of our hundreds of trees and shrubs, not to mention the flowers and the garden. Our caretakers take great pride in being non-invasive and "invisible" and want each of our guests to feel they have the use of the whole property; from just lazing on the decks, taking a dip in the river or having a campfire.

Perfectly suited for groups!

  • 5 of 5
I rented Jumping Rainbow for a small group of 4 recently and could not have been more satisfied. The house was immaculate upon our arrival and extremely well provisioned. All the normal appointments you'd expect in a VRBO, plus all condiments/spices, coffee and filters and plenty of linens.

Bonus points to the owners for their communications through the entire process, including checking in the night of our arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory.

One consideration for others -- while there are 3 bedrooms, each located on separate floors, the two bathrooms are both located on the main floor. This wasn't an issue for our group, but worth noting for others who may need access to a bathroom during the night.

Overall, a great home and we're already planning our return visit!

Great spot for family or guys fishing trip! Excellent owners/managers

  • 5 of 5
I stayed there with my dad, brother, and nephews for several days of floating the Missouri out of Craig. The house was just as described. Very clean, well-maintained, nice outside deck. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. House stayed fairly cool even during 90 degree days. Basement was best place to sleep.

Owners/managers were great. One of them happened to be staying at their smaller house on the property the first couple of nights we were there. She was kind enough to come by the first evening to tell us that there was a power line down on the street, that she'd already called the fire department and power company, and gave us several flashlights. This was lifesaver as the power went out about 10 mins after it got dark outside.

Second, we left a pair of wading shoes at the lodge. They took them to headhunters fly shop before I even realized it several weeks later, and the shop shipped them back to me.

Very comfortable property in an excellent location and well furnished and organized. This property can accomodate 6 to 10 people and the rate is very reasonable and the owner goes out of his way to be sure you are comfortable and have what you may need. Our group certainly plans to return.
