Great Family Trip

Our family of 6 visited this property over Spring Break. It was the most relaxing, stress free trip! The cabin is beautiful, homey and clean. I loved the chandeliers throughout the rooms. Nice back porch that overlooks the lake and the grounds. The kids played outside almost all day.. Fishing ..caught a lot of bass, swinging on the tire swings, playing in the boat sandbox. And after a day outside there is an outside shower.. The coolest thing!
Sharon the property owner is the sweetest! She was helpful with booking the property up to the day we left. We for sure will visit again!

The Most Relaxed I've Ever Been

I live in the middle of a huge city and I live a high paced life, I love it but sometimes I feel like crashing and burning. Thankfully I found this beautiful and peaceful hideaway! I stayed at this Lake Austin Cottage for the weekend with my husband and we have never felt more relaxed. Gone were the sounds of cars and sirens- sitting outside on the beautifully lite porch with an fantastic view of the water, all we could hear was silence for miles. The cottage itself was also truly amazing! I couldn't believe how nice and spacious the home was while still having a very snug, homey feel to it. I feel like I could have stayed there for months instead of days. If I ever want to have a girls weekend I know where to go, even with several people you could still fit in this cottage nicely because there is just so much room (there is even a cute. little playground by the house for young kids to play in, it's fun I tried it out myself). The home is decorated in a chic, Texas style that greatly appealed to the homebody in me, and even appealed to my husband (who is extremely hard to please I might add). And the owner- talk about a sweet lady, she made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay in Austin feel like an exclusive getaway. If you are looking for a place that is close to the lively city of Austin but is tucked away for when you want to relax, this place is perfect! I left Austin feeling more rejuvenated than I had in years. This cottage really does already feel like my new home-away-from-home and I can guarantee that I will be back many, many more times!

Like a Dream turned into Reality

If there was one thing i could do, for the rest of my life, it would be to live here! Unfourtunatley, i'm stationed in San Diego, California. Staying In this cottage, i Feel i found the heart of Austin, Texas; the life source of what makes the city, and the lake, unlike anything else in the United States. From the classic, and truly unique design and its rustic, antique pieces, to the incredible views you share with the sky with each sunrise and sunset, this cottage will make you feel like you've left your hectic job, and life truly has slowed down. If i could describe what staying here will do for your soul, it wouldn't compare to experiencing it. YOU HAVE TO SEE FOR YOURSELF! After 6 months out at sea, I couldn't be happier having stayed here on the lake. Thank you Sharon for letting me and my Fiance' Fall in love with your place, and deeper in love with one another. We will never forget you, and can't wait to stay again!

I enjoyed the view from both the porch and boat dock. The way the sun rose and set made for some awesome pictures with my camera. i loved grillin all the fish I caught from the lake. Everything was so clean,convenient and comfortable. Very relaxing and fun. I would recommend this property for any age group. There is something here for everyone to enjoy. I especially liked the fact that the UT golf course was right down the street. We will be back.
