Sure most places have a coffee maker, and maybe a toaster but do they also have a blender, can opener, shrimp deveiner and remote controls that actually work? And are they fully stocked with complete cookware, dinnerware, glassware and silverware along with complete bedding linens and towels for the number of guests the home accommodates, as well as brand name dish soap, Tide laundry detergent, body wash, Cascade dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, trashbags, paper towels and high quality toilet paper all purchased by moms that care, for moms that care? Tides 'N has all this and more! So again, if you've stayed elsewhere, you know what I'm talking about. Give this Sand Point beach home a try to see how it works perfectly for your family too. We feel certain you'll be back again and again, and here's another great reason why.
The Sand Point neighborhood is in town at marker #9 on the beach next to Beach Lodge (NOT way out of town, so far down Hwy 361 you can't even get a pizza delivered). In fact you'll only be a mile from the downtown area. The neighborhood offers a relatively large private pool and hot tub area exclusive to Sand Point plus a VERY SHORT private boardwalk and path over the dunes so there's no hiking or driving necessary from a home you just thought was going to be close to the beach. If you've ever stayed elsewhere you know what I'm talking about, but even if you don't have first hand experience in what I'm saying, why chance it? Stay with us in Sand Point at Tides 'N.
There's also a very popular restaurant in the neighborhood just steps from the home. The Beach Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting right on the beach. In fact its the only place in Port A to get a pot boil crab dinner and beer on the beach.
Additionally, we are THE PRIME LOCATION for SandFest which is an international sand sculpting competition held each year in April. It takes place right next to the Sand Point neighborhood's private boardwalk over the dunes. Where are you going to park? Shuttle? We don't need no stinkin' shuttle from across town. We're staying right next to SandFest at Tides 'N in the Sand Point neighborhood with pool, hot tub and direct beach boardwalk access to fun!
Remember folks, Sand Point is arguably THE most desirable neighborhood in Port Aransas and Tides 'N Beach Home is THE place to stay so email us for availability and then call Matthew with credit card in hand to lock in your dates before some other savvy family gets on the calendar ahead of you. We'd love to host your next trip to Port A!
Tides 'N was perfect for our family of 7! The short walk to the beach was worth the effort as the beach wasn't over-crowded and the water was warm. My grandson loved playing in the waves! We had everything we needed in the home and found the decor charming! We will definitely plan another trip here soon!
we loved the house. It was a perfect size for my family (2 adults, 3 kids) and actually we could have brought another family with us and still had plenty of room.
the house was well kept with lively colors that made you feel like you were at the beach.
the porch had a lot of room to sit and we actually sat under the house alot as well as our kids rode their bikes underneath and we sat with a breeze blowing watching them.
The beach was very easy to walk to but it seemed the kids wanted to spend more time at the pool which is also a very, short walk to.
i am definitely going to stay here again and will probably bring more kids or friends with us since we now know it can comfortorably hold more
We stayed there for 3 nights, 4 adults and 1 child and 2 tiny dogs. What a lovely place! The house had a great decoration and had all the untensils. It is bright and very clean. The Manager was very friendly and the beach is very close. The pool is great and the stores are close by. We will come back for sure:)
We slept 6 adults and 3 children easy, and had every utensil and kitchen appliance available, except the toaster didn't work, but we really didn't need it. The boardwalk made it easy for us to walk to the beach without having to drag sand into the trucks, and hot water was available on the outside shower which is nice considering most outside showers only have cold settings. Plenty of parking space. The kids enjoyed the communal pool and jacuzzi on the windy-cold days.
We had Easter on the beach, first time, and that was really nice. We made several new friends on the beach, and have already planned to meet up for another round of horse-shoes :)
