BEACH-FRONT STUDIO WITH A KITCHEN

Cozy little studio with everything we needed - fullkitchen. - ocean view,. Best of all it was right on the boardwalk full of reastaurants, live music and fun people.

As our family uses VRBO regularly I attempt to write very thorough reviews that point out positives and negatives alike so that renters can decide for themselves what is important to them. The owners of this property are attentive, kind and trustworthy. The location of this property was ideal.....right on the beach. The heated pool and hot tub were amazingly clean and large. There is a small kiddie pool. Access to the Broadwalk is steps away. The studio is located on the 4th floor of what must have been in its day an amazing resort. When you look around you can see glimpses of the grandeur this property once enjoyed. Sadly, it is now very tired looking. The carpet in the hallways is stained and has a musty smell. While we were there there was a gas leak on our floor. The studio itself is very small. I would not recommend this property for more than 2 people. The two double beds are well appointed with proper clean bedding. The small dining table is sufficient for breakfast and lunch dining. The kitchen is well appointed for basic cooking. The carpeted area in the room is clean. The tile in the entryway and kitchen is clean. Although the view from the window does look over the roof..... the view of the ocean is lovely and unobstructed. The lamps and lighting in the studio are odd and not in good condition. The bathroom is very small. There is a metal type door in the low ceiling in the bathroom. It is rusting and paint chips are starting to form. The drains in both the sink and the tub are very slow and backed up during normal use. The water pressure in the shower is so strong it is painful to shower. This property needs to have the bathroom completely redone. Get rid of the tub and put in a glass stall to make it feel bigger. There were plenty of towels provided. There was only one bathmat provided....there should be more. There is not sufficient access to electrical outlets. My sons who needed to access their computers for school found it near impossible and had to unplug other things. When we looked for other plugs behind the beds we found that it had probably be months since vacuuming had been done behind the beds. There is very little drawer space and not enough hooks to hang wet towels. Hooks should be put in the entry way instead of the painting. Lastly, be advised that the covered parking that is available will cost $15 per day. There is nowhere to park for free.

We had an absolute blast! This place is just perfect, everything you need!! Beach chairs, towels, kitchen supplies...and the room itself had alot to offer in such a compact space. Love it!
