Photos and Description of the Sayulita vacation house rental
One-bedroom house sleeps 4, casita sleeps 3, rent separately or together.

Casa Viliano is a beautiful gated home built into the hillside on the north end of Sayulita, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and town.

Evening and night views from Casita Viliano are particularly spectacular with the twinkling lights of the village below, and afford excellent views of Sayulita’s frequent fireworks displays.

Casita Viliano, (affordably priced starting at $65/night, low season) is on the lowest floor of the house and is rented as a stand-alone unit. It has it's own well-equipped kitchenette, a queen bed and twin-size day bed to comfortably sleep a family of three or two amigos who don't want to share a bed. The private terrace includes table and chairs to seat four and chaise lounges for reading or taking your siesta.  The casita has a door that separates it from the house for complete privacy and ensures your security.

Casita guests have access to the pool and pool terrace.

High quality linens and towels. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are provided.

About Donna Evans-Deyermond

In 2006 we visited Sayulita for the first time, fell in love with it and bought the lot our house now stands on. We live in Buffalo, NY, and spend January to May of each year at our house. Cal is a retired school administrator and I am a Public Relations Consultant. When we are in Sayulita we rent the casita, and when we're in the States we rent the house and the casita. Over the past six years we've thoroughly enjoyed the people we've met through renting, and now count many of them among our friends.

Donna Evans-Deyermond purchased this house in 2007
Why Donna Evans-Deyermond chose Sayulita

We think the location of Casa Viliano is ideal. The village of Sayulita offers lots of restaurants and entertainment, but retains a true Mexican flavor. The north end of the beach is quiet and peaceful, while the village end offers more excitement. If you are reasonably fit, you don't need a car to get to the village or beach from the house -- and the views from the terraces at night are spectacular!

What makes this house unique

In addition to location, location, location, at Casa Viliano you can take yoga classes, rent a surf board or a kayak, arrange for surf lessons, or set up a fishing trip. If you are staying at our casita while the house is occupied, you have complete privacy on your own terrace. We also supply beach chairs and beach umbrellas, and -- since we like to cook -- our kitchens are well stocked with Calphalon pots, Fiesta Ware dishes, and sharp knives. Complimentary pick up at the Puerto Vallarta airport is available from January to May for guests who book a week or longer.

Perfect Casita in Sayulita

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed at Casita Viliano in Sayulita for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the accommodations. Staying on the north side of Sayulita was an excellent decision: we were very close to town (less than 10 minute easy walk), yet just far enough away so the night time music from the beach front bars never kept us awake. It was a busy time of year in Sayulita yet very quiet and peaceful at the Casita.

The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen, though small, was more than adequate for preparing meals. The tile and stonework in the Casita and on the deck were very attractive, as was the beautiful landscaping. Because the Casita is just below the main house we had full access to the swimming pool. Lounging at the pool was the perfect way to relax after our daily surf camp with "Wildmex".

Cal and Donna, who own Casita Villiano did everything and more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were always helpful, very friendly, and are just super nice people.

The surf camp at Wildmex was superb. We had Risa for our instructor and she did a great job of taking us to different breaks and really showing us more of the area than just the Sayulita beach.

Third Great Visit

Once again my visit to Casa Viliano was a wonderful experience. As before, the weather was fantastic and the accomodations were clean and inviting. The hosts an even the cleaning and maintenance staff were easy and pleasant to commnicate with. As beautiful as the listing photos are, to be there in person enjoying the changes from dawn to the sunsets at dusk is the 'real life' impression that lasts forever. Whether hopping a ride or walking to the village center there are always numerous great restaurants, shops, fiestas or parades such as last years 'Sayulita Days' that emerse you in the local culture. The beaches are clean and you can always enjoy the surfing crowd or occasional whale sighting. With three visits over the last few years that alone is a great recomendation to join myself and many others in visiting Casa Viliano.

Casual Elegance

I don’t know whether it was luck or the consequences of good karma that led me to the charming Casa Viliano in Sayulita, a beautiful and welcoming bit of Mexico just north of Puerto Vallarta. In any event I was fortunate to stay at the casa for just over a month while I waited for my condo to be completed in a neighboring town. Donna and Cal, the proprietors of Casa Viliano, have spared little in making their home warm, inviting and a pleasure in which to spend time.
The casa is located in town, a short five minutes or so walk from the zocalco (town square) and an even closer walk to the beaches for which Sayulita is renowned.
Their home is a charming one bedroom south facing affair perched on a hillside overlooking the town. It comes equipped with all the amenities one would expect including maid service, pool, a completely equipped kitchen, TV, etc., all set within a tastefully designed piece of paradise. An added plus was being able to appreciate the professional photographs and paintings that adorn the walls and which helped to set a tone of casual elegance. Donna and Cal have retained a couple to act as property managers and who live locally and have extensive knowledgeable of the village, excursions and other things in which a tourist may have interest; more importantly than the property manager’s knowledge of the area and its many attractions is the fact that I found them immediately responsive in handling a minor issue during my stay. To say that they went above and beyond what was expected would be an understatement.
Bottom line, my time at the Casa Viliano was pleasant, peaceful and quite enjoyable and I would unhesitatingly recommend it as a place to stay in Sayulita.

The villa is gorgeous. The property was even better than the pictures. And the owners were very attentive and made you feel at home. I would highly recommend Casa Viliano to my friends and family and to anyone wanting to have a great vacation in Sayulita!
