Photos and Description of the Corfu vacation rental Villa and private pool, sleeps 4/6 close to beautiful Almyros beach, Acharavi.

This villa is all about outdoors, 2 furnished and shaded terraces, large built-in barbecue and a furnished garden gazebo you are spoilt for choice when dining ‘al fresco’. The tiled pool is just steps from the villa and has a separate children’s splash pool. Sumptuous lawns and gated entrance allow for a wonderfully safe play area for children. Villa Machos is sold as a 2-bedroom villa but does have a 3rd twin bedroom on request for a small supplement. The sitting/dining area with TV/DVD player, adjoins the well-equipped kitchenette with doors leading to a terrace, pool and garden. The double bedroom has an ensuite bath/shower/WC and the 2 twin bedrooms share another bath/shower room/WC. All of the bedrooms have AC and garden views. A telephone for incoming calls only. The layout of this villa makes it suitable for people with limited mobility and perfect for small children. Cots and high chairs available on request. Car hire recommended for at least part of your stay.

Acharavi is a lovely village with a wide main street and pedestrian footpaths making it easy to browse the craft and gift shops at a leisurely pace. There is a good selection of tavernas along the main road, set on the beach front or inland in the hills offering traditional dining with wonderful views. You have an excellent choice of food outlets – supermarkets, fish shop, and bakers as well as a couple of bars to while away the evenings in. There is a fun-filled water park on the outskirts of Acharavi. A walking trail along the Acharavi shoreline and up into the foothills of Mount Pantokratora is a popular and scenic route. Acharavi beach stretches as far as Roda to the west and east to Almyros. There are water sports on the main beach but a quiet corner of beach can always be found even in high season. A 25-minute drive will take you to the stunning west coast beaches and 15 minutes east will find you in Kassiopi.
