Reviewer Comments:

This house is great for a small business stay or small to medium sized family stay. Having the pool/ping pong table was great. It's off the loop but far enough off the road to have a good play area for kids as well.

Reviewer Comments:

The house had everything we were looking plus the convience of being so close to the skiing area. The windows were awesome.... Looking out I could see people skiing down the mt. Right in front of me. I also enjoyed the washer and dryer. It was nice coming home with clean laundry. The only problem we encountered was the Internet service.. It didn't work most of the time. But we will return back to this place.. It was so peaceful and nice!!!

Enjoyable Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We needed a place for four adults on a Brighton/Solitude ski trip. Despite the late January weather, the furnace temperature control was fast and easy to adjust for the entire house. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and very clean. Plenty of blankets and linens to go around. Snow removal company was prompt and efficient in clearing the driveway.

The house is very comfortable with the large living areas upstairs and in the basement. The two large open areas made it easy to find room to spread out. The component stereo system upstairs was ready for iPod with an Aux cable.

The wood deck was swept of snow as well which allowed us to grill steaks on the gas grill.

Walking to the Brighton lifts instead of loading up the car was a big win each morning.

We have a limited time for skiing and and the owners were quick to answer all our questions beforehand.

Fabulous Ski Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This updated home is warm and inviting with great access to Brighton Resort. An easy 4 minute walk to lifts. If there had been more snow it definitely would be ski-in/ski-out, but we visited during low season.

Home had many amenities for children and adults. Kids loved the snow sleds on the driveway incline. Indoor ping pong and pool table were lots of fun after a day on the slopes. Board games, puzzles, etc.

Our family especially enjoyed the deck for dining al fresco.

Tons of huge windows to soak up the beautiful view and plenty of hot water to soak in after skiing. Superb star gazing at night too!

Creekside at Brighton is the best!!

  • 5 of 5

Our ski vacation at Brighton Ski Resort was absolutely the best!

The snow was perfect: 40 inches of fresh powder during the week on top of a 60 inch base. The lift lines were short and the skiing was world class.

Staying at Creekside was a delight: it was warm and comfortable with huge windows offering spectacular views. The ping pong table and pool table on the first floor were perfect to keep my boys busy when they weren't skiing. The kitchen was well-equipped and felt like home. It was great being so close to the ski lifts. The boys could walk home for lunch or hot chocolate in minutes.

Adrienne and Carole at Mount Majestic made everything easy from before we arrived until we reluctantly checked out to go home. Much thanks to Mount Majestic (Adrienne and Carole) for checking to ensure we got the discount lift tickets; for providing all of the suggestions so we'd arrive well prepared and ready to ski; for keeping us plowed out when the snow gods smiled; and for keeping in touch during the week to ensure things were going smoothly.

We'll be back! And we'll recommend Mount Majestic, Brighton Ski Resort and Creekside cottage to all of our friends.

Great ski in - ski out home in Brighton

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation here with four adults and four teenagers. When we weren't skiing, the adults loved the sunny upstairs room with the view and the well-equipped kitchen, while the kids hung out downstairs with the TV and the pool table. The home is an easy walk to the main lift, even in ski boots! This home is especially good if some people downhill ski while others might want to snowshoe or cross-country ski, as the walk to the Solitude nordic center is equally easy. The friendly property manager was available at all times with any questions we had. We highly recommend Creekside!
