This cottage is not to be missed. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this is a beautiful, alluring and private dwelling and location . It's always a shot in the dark whenever we rent vacation lodging, not knowing if the photos are really a good representation. After arriving the night before in the dark, we awoke to a beautiful sunrise and the greatness of this glorious ocean just footsteps away from the cottage. We opened every door and window, and there are many, to let the sea breeze flow through this very well appointed dwelling with wonderful sleeping accomodations, living and dining area, all of it, roomy and airy. We bought groceries for the most part to enjoy a seaside dining experience as we took in our quiet and peacfull of surroundings. We didn't want to leave this nest for we didn't think any restaraunt could top what we already had. So we were pleased that this recently updated, spacious and airy kitchen was fully equiped for cooking, etc. The lanai is sheltered by a large overhanging roof, so even on a rainy day we could enjoy the outdoors. We took many walks along this beautiful and lightly inhabited stretch of northshore beach and while among other things, we enjoyed watching local families relishing their time together there. We liked the fact that there were very few tourists and began to feel like locals ourselves. Wildlife abounds...and we were thrilled to see whales jumping and splashing right in front of the cottage (at a distance) every day that we were there. We also enjoyed visits from wild peacocks, mongoose, feral chickens, roosters, geckos and more. The foliage and flowers are amazing and the magnificent mountains are a very pleasant surprise. So, long story short, yes the photos are a very good representation of this property and yes, we would highly recommend this cottage as a vacation destination.
