5th Arrondissement Latin Quarter Vacation Rental apartment: Paris

My girlfriend and I were looking for an apartment in Paris that would feel like our home away from home. We found it!

The apartment was clean, tidy and very well equipped for all needs. All of the furniture and white goods are new and in good working order. The heating is especially effective which was great for the week of snow we experienced!

The apartment has a lovely Parisian feel and is located close to both metro and bus lines. Destinations such as St-Germain du Pres and Notre Dame.

The building is secure and safe with two separate code key pads at the two internal doors.

My girlfriend would like to say a few words...

A wonderful, warm, traditional apartment.
We arrived on a cold December evening and were greeted at the front door off the road by the landlady who is one of the most caring and fantastically charasmatic Parisienne women I have ever met. (I think this apartment, where she, herself used to live, reflects her casual, French style)
As we entered the room she informed us that she had popped out and bought us some fresh bread and milk (and chocolates!) as the shops on bank holidays tended to close early! Thoughtful and very informative... She had written up numerous pages of information for us about local attractions, nice places to eat and bars and shops to visit. She was available on the phone whenever we needed her.
The location is perfect with a 30 second walk to the Metro 'Saint Marcel', (which is on a direct line to Gare Du Nord and other major connecting stations) and is a few minutes to the river.
We strolled up into Saint Germain a few times for a coffee and a croissant or evening brasserie supper and it was the easy accessibility to these places that was really important to us. Perfect.
Simply perfect in every way!
In summary, if you're looking for a beautiful, homely, traditional and fully equipped place (within easy commuting distance to anywhere in Paris!) to call your own for a Parisian get-away, look no further!
We found a jackpot here and at a bargain rate! Perfect start to 2010! x Happy Couple! x

During my last stay in Paris, i had the pleasure to live in this apartment, spick and span clean, nicely furnished and well equiped. Furthermore, the landlady is welcoming and helpfull.

Located in central Paris and close to any type of transportation, it is the right place to stay if you want to discover this beautiful city.

Whether for professional or private visit, i strongly recommend it for a vacation.
