2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath 5 Minutes from the Children's Ski School

If you have children, you don't need ski-in, ski-out, you need easy access to the ski school that 'is consistently voted the best in the country.' And a 5 minute ride from under-cover parking to free drop-off parking is about as easy as it gets. Then what about you, the parents? Well ... kids start at 8:45 am, and the parking lot is almost empty. So buy your lift tickets at the ski school, re-park the car, walk 1 minute, and you're at the bottom of Rueggli lift. Need boots and skis or a board? Catch the shuttle up to the village. What could be easier?

The Inn at Taos Valley offers a unique home-away-from-home feeling with a large outdoor hot tub, patio, fitness room, and game room with ping pong, darts and foosball - even a library/media room with a large screen TV. The Wright Retreat (#27) features a king size bed and plenty of space for bulky ski clothes in the main bedroom. The country pine dresser, mirror and individual nightstands make for warm, cozy nights. The extra large window lets in bright morning light behind easy-to-use blinds.

Two sets of bunkbeds in the second bedroom accommodate up to four kids or extra adults. A closet and five-drawer dresser store even the bulkiest sweaters and winter gear. Both bedrooms feature firm mattresses with soft, sateen sheets and microfleece blankets. The two half-baths, complete with toilet, sink, mirror and lots of cabinet space, connect to a separate room with a tiled shower/tub unit. The curved shower rod allows for plenty of space for those after-ski hot-water showers.

The kitchen has all modern conveniences, including a spacious refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, ceramic cooktop, large oven, non-stick cookware, crockpot and unique 'Cabin in the Snow' dishes and utensils! The dining nook has a cozy wraparound bench and table set, plus the kitchen counter accommodates quick eating on a pair of barstools. A gas fireplace, comfortable leather sofa and warm wood furnishings finish off the living room, which also boasts a flat screen TV with satellite channels available.
