Located 7 km from Santillana del Mar, and 4 km from the beach.

LA MATILDA's house is within a large private estate of 1,800 m² of indigenous trees and fruit trees, completely surrounded by high walls (1.80 m) and in a perfect rustic setting in the countryside of Cantabria. In addition, the river that runs through the plot, with its stone bridge, gives the farm a special charm and makes the contact with nature is increased. The privacy makes it the perfect setting to relax, sunbathe, read, paint ...

The property has barbecue, private parking and a special enclosure for dogs.

The house is located in the heart of town yet in a private area and for the exclusive use of tenants. Only hear the sound of birds and flow of river water.

The tourist village of Santillana del Mar is 7 km away and the beach Cóbreces to 4 kilometers (fine sand). The capital of Cantabria, Santander, is 36 Km by motorway from the Cantabrian comfortable.

And the second capital of Cantabria, Torrelavega, with all amenities, is only 12 km.

The house and private land are located in the heart of the village Novales (not an isolated house) in the quiet neighborhood of La Acebosa, this district has a rich fountain of precious water that can be seen from LA MATILDA. In the garden can only hear the sound of birds and the flowing river water.The river also has ducks and geese, these harmless animals entertain children.LA MATILDA has barbecue and utensils for use as well as 3 stone tables to enjoy lunch outdoors.

CHILDREN: LA MATILDA has a clear focus on families, and thinking about the smallest we have toys available to entertain in those moments when parents prepare the food, rest or sit all in the garden for outdoor free. Children also get distracted a lot with the harmless ducks Novales City Council has prepared and live freely in the river that runs through LA MATILDA. The river has no risk to children. Novales has a small playground with swings.

Novales's villa in the town of Alfoz de Lloredo, is the perfect location for tourism and enjoy the beaches as it is located in the heart of attractive villas and visited, for example, Santillana del Mar is 7 km away and the beach Cóbreces to 4 (fine sand). DOGS: As another member of the family, pets are also entitled to holidays, and LAMATILDA been thinking about dogs enabling a wide space where they can be closed but not tied up while the owners go to a restaurant, museum or beach. The interior is semi-dug in the ground and has natural spring water is filtered drinking from the nearby mountains. The measures are wide, found 50% and 50% covered (avoiding the sun and rain).

La Matilda.

La Matilda has everything one needs for a peaceful stay in Spain. The property is well maintained with a well equiped kitchen. The chairs and bed are very comfy. La Matilda has a large secure garden ideal for children to play in and explore while the parents relax with the sound of the river. An added bonus was the Lemon and Orange trees that we were allowed to pick the fruit off. The village of Novales has some good reasturants and bars to enjoy the local cuisine. Close to the coast with its lovely beaches it is also close to the Picos de Europa for the more energetic. We would recommend La Matilda to everyone who wants to experience the real Spain. Even in late September we had hot sunny weather. The hosts Aida and Jose made us feel very welcome and were only a phone call away if needed. We had a fantastic time at La Matilda and hope to return again in the future. Many thanks to Aida and Jose.

Si queréis alejaros del ruido de la ciudad para meteros en el campo con todas las comodidades, es el sitio ideal, vengo con las pilas cargadas!!! IDILICO!!! el rio pasa por mitad de la finca, lo decían en el anuncio y no me lo creía! supercuidado! tiramos las toallas al cesped para sentir la hierba y con el ruido del agua genial! que asco volver a la rutina. Hola,
Hemos regresado de pasar unos días en esta fantástica casa y teníamos que explicar lo que hemos visto, el paraíso. La casa es preciosa, con un jardín luminoso lleno de Naturaleza, y si te asomas hay un río lleno de vida. Pero todo muy tranquilo, y muy seguro. Teniamos miedo de pasar frío, porque en el Norte no se sabe, pero la casa está equipada, tampoco nos han faltado materiales para cocinar. Hemos hecho muchas fotos y hemos dormido mucho, ya tenemos la dirección del paraíso.
