The Square is one of a group of 3 cottages overlooking a pretty shrubbery, in a quiet corner just off Watchet centre street a few yards from the marina, close to shops, bank, restaurants, pubs, PO. It's a perfect base for exploring Exmoor and the Quantocks. With its attractive marina and steam railway, historic Watchet is a popular holiday destination in the lovely area of West Somerset, known for its pretty countryside, charming villages, and interesting coastline, a fossil-hunter's haven. Coleridge wrote one of his most famous works whilst in Watchet. A home away from home, the cottage is well-equipped, nicely furnished with thoughtful touches throughout. Two bedrooms, one a double and one with 2 singles. Children welcome, though not suitable for toddlers. A folding cot is available. Small well-behaved dogs welcome. Parking is available in lit public carparks close to the cottage.The cottage is also easily reached by public transport with a frequent bus service to Taunton.

Watchet is a historic port nestled at the foot of the Quantock Hills in West Somerset. Its harbour was recently turned into a beautiful marina and is a popular attraction. The Esplanade has also been enhanced with bronze sculptures including Coleridge's Ancient Mariner and one of Watchet most famous mariners 'Yankee Jack.' Watchet has two fascinating museums, a variety of shops, and a wide choice of eateries including pubs, cafes and restaurants. Watchet is close to such attractions as Dunster Castle, Tropiquaria, Minehead and its beaches, Exmoor and The Quantocks. The West Somerset Steam Railway runs year-round. Beaches in the area are famous for fossil-hunting.
