Our property is approximately 15 mins drive to the National Park of El Chorro. Here you will find a gorge, cave houses and beautiful forests on sandstone rock. As you pass through El Chorro you will arrive at the magnificent lakes of Ardales. Walking, birdwatching, swimming, fishing, paddelos and soaking up the views at these fresh water lakes can't be beaten. There are several, superb, quality restaurants overlooking the lakes, not to be missed!
The town of Alora has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars to sample local tapas. There is also a castle, a cinema, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. Monday is market day for fresh fruit and veg, clothing, shoes and various stalls.
There is a direct line to Malaga with an easy connection to other coastal resorts. There is always plenty to do at the coast for every age group e.g. zoos, funfairs, adventure parks, water parks and watersports, castles, beaches and plenty more. Leaflets are available at the house.
