Ash Cottage is a property for five, located in the hamlet of Clifford close to the village of Woolfardisworthy (Woolsery), North Devon where you will find a pub, village store and fish & chip shop. Located between Bude and Bideford and close to the dramatic North Devon coast, it is equipped to a very high standard and benefits from private gardens as well as six acres of communal grounds including gated wildlife ponds. The cottage has a spacious and comfortable beamed living room with two large sofas, digital TV, DVD player and video recorder. A separate kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine together with CD player/radio. Upstairs, via a spiral staircase from the living room is a double, a twin and a single bedroom. The bathroom consists of toilet and corner bath with integral shower. All fuel and power is included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are also included. Ample off-road parking at the rear.

Ash Cottage is within three miles of the dramatic and beautiful coast around Hartland and Clovelly. A small pebble beach at the close-by historic harbour of Bucks Mills reveals rock pools to explore at low tide; you might even spot dolphins. A short drive north to Westward Ho! and south into Cornwall to Sandymouth and Bude provides ample sandy beaches for safe swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. Also within easy reach is Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands together with the many attractions of Croyde and Woolacombe. Picturesque fishing villages include Appledore and Instow. Golf, fishing and cycling (the Tarka Trail) are available nearby with the Tamar Lakes (eight miles) providing additional water activities. For children the attractions of the Milky Way and The Big Sheep are within a 15 minute drive. For shopping visit the ancient pannier market in Barnstaple or try the outlet centre - Atlantic Village - on the outskirts of Bideford. A range of supermarkets are within a 15 min drive.

There is a garden/patio adjacent to the cottage with two chairs; an additional garden area with picnic table is close by. There are also six acres of well-kept communal grounds including two secure, gated wildlife ponds with lovely riverside walks.

The South West coastal path is just over three miles away from the cottage, with much of it protected as part of National Trust land. RHS Rosemoor - 65 acres of gardens is around 20 minutes drive away at Great Torrington.

The cottage is also close to the Cornish border. South of Bude takes you to Tintagel & Boscastle; travelling further south on the Atlantic highway (A39) you can easily visit Padstow (home of Rick Stein's restaurants) and Newquay (home to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant) within the day.

Exmoor (and the coast - e.g. Lynton & Lynemouth), Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are all with easy reach - the world renown Eden Project is around 90 minutes away by car - the perfect day trip. For a day trip or longer, take the ferry that runs from Bideford to Lundy Island with its famous puffins.

Very clean & comfortable cottage with all facilities.
Nice gardens for a walk.
Good location for walking and countryside.
Only downside need to use car to nearest shop / pub etc.
