Best Place Ever

This is the best vacation rental we have ever had. The place was extremely nice and clean. It really felt like home. We travel with our dogs and they could not have been in a better place for them. The location is excellent with several restaurants in easy walking distance. Further the location just off of highway 17 made getting to the other islands and places of interest very easy and of course you can take Rutledge all the way down to the battery. If you want a treat in a place to stay in Charleston this is the best of the best.

What a Gem!

My wife and I came to Charleston to celebrate our Anniversary and we could not have been happier. Matt went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and that our week was special! The Rutledge Inn was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The neighborhood was so cool and there are several excellent restaurants nearby as well as some nightlife. It was the perfect way to visit Charleston and we could not recommend it more!

beautiful, comfortable

This little apartment was wonderful, I wish we could have stayed longer. Very convenient to downtown Charleston, we walked everywhere. The photos do not do it justice, the place was super clean and I loved the kitchen, even though we didn't cook. It was just nice to sit at the marble countertop and sip Starbucks coffee (provided) in the morning and get ready for walking all over the city.
Matt, the owner was so helpful when we arrived late at night (due to traffic incident). I called him when we got lost in Charleston and he stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at Rutledge Avenue, and made sure we got in OK.
I hope we have a chance to return for a longer stay!

This property was extremely comfortable, very clean, well maintained and exactly like the description and pictures. Matt, the owner, was helpful and has adequate written information available at check-in. There are great restaurants very near by (also listed in Matt's material). We especially liked "Lana" which is a half-block away. We were able to bring our two small dogs and they adjusted quickly to the comforts of the rental. We have already recommended this rental to a neighbor who visits Charleston often. We will definitely rent from Matt if we go to Charleston again.

Perfect!

We were very pleasantly surprised when we pulled into The Rutledge Inn. The house was tastefully updated but still retained an old charm. The appliances were top of the line and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk to everything or take the free trolley if we were feeling lazy. :) We would definitely stay here again!
