The Cathedral Quarter is known as the cultural heart of the city, our own bijou Temple Bar or Covent Garden. At its heart lies St Anne's Cathedral but it is also home to the city's publishing houses and the art college. This region is littered with gems as diverse as the John Hewitt, a non-profit pub named after the local poet, where you can hear traditional live music, and The Merchant Hotel, a 5* opulent hotel. Famous restaurants such as The Mourne Seafood Bar (awarded Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland) and Deane's (Belfast's only Michelin-starred restaurant) are within walking distance, as well as tourist hotspots such as The Belfast Wheel and the political murals.

The apartment was great for anyone wanting a city break, situated in an Ideal location close to the city centre with shops, bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk. Accommodated 4 adults comfortably with all the facilites necessary as a base and was very reasonably priced. The secure parking was a bonus for the hire car. Would recommend the apartment for a stay in Belfast a great city to base yourself from to visit the fantastic countryside around it but still be able to enjoy some night life either a meal and quiet drink or more lively bars whichever you prefer. Try McCrackens in Joys Entry for a great meal or the Morning Star in Pettingers Entry the Champ was devine and the food was great, Robinsons was great for a nights drinking. All in all really enjoyed the 5 nights in Belfast.
