All new kitchen, 3 baths, and an impressively large three room master suite.Located on an attractive village street in the much sought-after village of Athens. Walking distance to school, library, pool, kayak launch, restaurants and Hudson River park. 15 minutes to Hudson / Amtrak and two hours from NYC.

Wonderful Weekend Ski Getaway

My husband, 13 year old son and dog needed a quiet, relaxing getaway for some holiday skiing. From the moment we found the house online, the owner treated us so wonderfully - making every step so easy as we reserved our days. Upon arrival we discovered a really cool home - BIG, open, airy and yet so very comfortable with just the right amount of style. We were close to Wyndham and Hunter, were able to enjoy our ski days and the towns and return to a house that enabled us to cook, lounge and sleep in such comfortable rooms. The master bedroom is breath taking and we enjoyed adult coffee with gorgeous sun bathing us through the sunlights.

I would return in the blink of an eye!

Perfect Base for exploring Athens and Hudson

The owner ran the well known Garden Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires for 8 years. She has thought of everything and her taste is impeccable. Plus she speaks Spanish, French and English fluently. Take the Thruway to the Catskill Exit. Skiing, once it starts is a half hour away- your choice of several slopes. Right now the leaves are about to hit perfection whether you walk the streets of Athens admiring the archictecture or the trails in Catskill Park or the Catskill Corn Maze.. This home is the perfect place to come back to to relax/recharge. Loved the drive in just up the road- Great Traditional fun for the whole family
