This new home has only been on the vacation rental market for one year. You will not be disappointed as you walk through the natural wood paneled entry way into this immaculate home with hardwood floors on the entire main level. The large spacious den opens through double doors to the deck for a breathtaking view of the blue ridge mountains. In one corner of the den you will see the rock fireplace with gas logs, and along the far wall is a fully-equipped designer kitchen with granite counter tops and a dining bar. The adjacent dining area is surrounded by windows and also opens to a deck which spans the entire back of the house for long-range mountain views. The 42-inch HD flat-screen television with HD satellite receiver and DVD/VCR player, wireless fiber-optic internet service, and a land telephone line provide your entertainment and communication needs. The master bedroom, with its own door to the deck, has rustic cabin furniture with a queen bed and a private bathroom. This luxury bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower with a fixed and hand-held nozzle offering variable shower options. The adjacent walk-in closet has two sets of shelving for linens or clothes as well as an abundance of rods to hang clothes. In this bedroom there is also a television connecting to the satellite receiver in the den, providing for that late-night show while you doze off in bed. Off the den is another bedroom with a queen-size bed, chest of drawers, dressing table, and closet. There is a private door to a full bathroom which opens via a separate door into the den for use by other guests. On the far end of the house is the second 'master' bedroom with its own private bathroom and a combination tub/shower and walk-in closet. Beautifully appointed with a traditional queen bed, dresser, and lingerie chest, this bedroom also has a door to the deck.
Carpeted stairs lead to a full daylight basement. A gracious number of windows offer scenic mountain views from both the basement den and a bedroom furnished with 4 bunk beds. A bathroom with a combination shower/tub is across the hall from the bedroom. The basement den has a 42-inch television, dvd player, and is on a separate satellite receiver from upstairs. The perfect get-away for the kids, there is a foosball table, game table for puzzles, playing games, etc. For the adults, there is a granite wet bar and refrigerator tucked away in the corner. You may park your car in the basement garage or just steps away from the front door.
Inside the house has all the comforts and conveniences of home, but the real treasure is the surrounding mountains easily viewed from the deck that spans the back of the house. Relax in two Adirondack chairs as you look out over the valley to Appalachian Ski Mountain or Grandfather Mountain in the distance. Cook out on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the patio table under the covered area of the deck.
